KHUX retreads the story, with some tweaked dialogue, a new world, and new gameplay mechanics. Word of God says that the conclusion seen in KHX will be the ending point of season 1 in KHUX, and that season 2 will continue the story past that point. And while KHUX appears to take place in a simulation of the actual Keyblade War, Backcover tells the story of the actual events, from the foretellers point of view.
