I scrolled down likw 2 inches on the page and to paraphrase the source material it's to do with the (technically unintentional) embodiment of something called feminist human-computer interaction, apparently because Ao3 was primarily designed and coded by women, informed by existing values and norms around issues such as accessibility, inclusivity, and identity, to host and share works primary created and consumed by women. The article that discusses it actually sounds kind of interesting but it's $15 to download so I guess we'll never know.

Anyway, it's definitely the best place for fic.

I did like the viewer statistic page more than Ao3 stat page though, plus readers always seemed to be more responsive. I think Ao3 super convenient design/search function + *typically* better quality writing encourages people to like power through ten fics in a row without commenting/liking/whatever. I remember back in my day before the FF NSFW purge, you'd spend an hour scrabbling through the dirt for one (1) not shit fic and by god, you'd demolish that comment box out of pure gratitude.

Not really, but you know what I mean.

I only like 2 or 3 DA pairings and 1 ME pairing, and they aren't LGBT, so they're not super common in fanfic land. It's entirely possible for me to find

Oh, and I know what you mean about reviewing. I make sure to write long reviews whenever a story I like on FF gets updated because it's such a rarity to find good stuff, and I don't want to see it abandoned
