Rx-7

Brings nothing to the table that other sports cars offer while being less reliable on top of it. The MR2 is the cheapest way to get a mid rear engined fun car.

i... can't really argue this

>performance rotary sports car
>brings nothing to the table

>muh mr chassis

> driving a le mans winning engine design
> driving the best looking sports car of the 90s

Except for being lighter, cheaper, less maintenance intensive, and more fun than most high performance sports cars.

>less reliable
Just change the fucking oil and don't overheat it.

It's not lighter, cheaper, or less maintenance intensive than a mr2

>high performance

I ignored that one fucker :(

it's not as slow either, won't need internals for a power increase
also this, only the turbo sw20 can be considered high performance

>itt people try to justify their impractical sports car purchasing decisions

Zzw30 only needs a 2zz to spank any rx7

With a lot of luck, maybe. But you're replacing the entire engine. In that case, I'd like to see any MR2 outclass a three-rotor.

Not even close

FD owner here; that is absolutely not true. Oil and temperature are the biggest concerns, but any number of things can go wrong with these cars. Mine breaks in some form at least 1-3 times a month.

I was thinking more in terms of FC... But yeah, I've heard FDs are extremely finicky, to say the least.

rx7 by far
I6 power with V8 fuel consumption
>"b-but add my rotors!! and a turbo!"
great now you have forced induction I6 power with Z06 fuel economy

The z06 doesnt consume any gas because it explodes after a lap

kek

13B engines could easily reach V8 power, and the RX7 is 2/3 the weight.

B engines could easily reach V8 power
>3mpg
>>RX7 is 2/3 the weight.
thats great and all but the fuel economy would seriously be shit, like really shit
at that point I'd just get a V8 and deal with the extra 150lbs

Ok?
So do that.
Good to know you need 5.7L to compete with 1.3L

yep, more power and better fuel economy, better in every way

Lol. Sure thing bud

Oh, well that's valid. I've heard of single owner N/A FC's lasting as long as 200k miles. The main issue with the FD's is the complexity of the sequential twins, and all of the vacuum hoses, solenoids, and sensors needed as a result. The motors themselves also don't last as long, of course, because of the extra strain from the stock boost.

Even with upgraded seals and cooling, I have no idea how many miles the enthusiasts get out of their FD's which they often switch to single turbos and run 20+ PSI on.

>> driving a le mans winning engine design
The Ford windsor engine is a le-mans winning engine design so you could potentially be driving one with a Fox body stang.

I love both

Who ever memes the MR2?

The RX7 is memed much more frequently than the MR2. Most people barely know anything about the AW11 to the ZZW30.

Most people dont know anything about the RX7 either.
>hurr durr apex seals
Thats all they know. It has apex seals... thats it.

Give me a quick rundown on the RX7.

I would. If you werent memeing

>1.3L meme
>actually closer to 3L

It's literally the fastest car ever made and pistoncucks can never compete

mr2 is a slow girls car that poorfags jerk over because muh aw11 wedge and muh kavninsky autism bullshit

rx7s are some of the greatest sports cars ever built, destroying their competition on the street and on the race track

>being this retarded
how 'close to 3l' is it? and give an explanation why

be careful not to trigger the gmcucks too hard

Sorry senpai, I just want to know more. I'm autistic and can only communicate through memes.

>select all images with cars

because Mazda just just took the size of one chamber of each rotor and used it as a marketing ploy, despite the fact that it displaces 2 point whatever chambers per rotation.

See, you have zero idea what you are talking about

>despite the fact that it displaces 2 point whatever chambers per rotation
per rotation of what? per rotation of the eshaft? in that case it only displaces 656cc per rotor for a 13b, which is 1.3l
