What should I stick on my comp besides Defence and Invention?
The rest seems kinda shitty to me.

I keep hearing Strength is the best of the perks out. Apparently it gives you an additional 3.6 seconds instead of 2.

Why even? Do you enjoy not knowing what the hell is going on?

You get an extra 2 hits out of it.
If you use melee regularly it's easily the best perk

Literally a game changer if you have Lunging too. +2k damage every rotation. I'm surprised Jagex didn't think this was too strong

Honestly, you should try membership on your regular account before an ironman.

I don't really have a main account, the account I played on when I was a kid is banned because I wanted to dick around with botting years ago, so I just made a new account a few weeks ago but decided that I want to do ironman instead, so they're both about the same level. Should I get member on a regular account so I can have access to the GE?

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about bonds, might as well focus on making money on my non-ironman acc since it's way easier to make money with the GE so I can give members a try before paying for it.

How would you fix skillcape perks /rsg/?

Constitution: Acts as a Hard tasks' enhanced excalibur, same cooldown
Agility: Acts as a Surefooted aura for 10 minutes, same cooldown
Thieving: Lowers your stunned time when caught from 4.2 seconds to 2.1
Mining: Chance of mining two ores, stacks with Varrock armour

i don't know if the mining one stacks with lava titan but if it doesn't it's aan alright perk

why the fuck would you want double health regen rate?

I didn't say that, but sure as hell beats something that can already be done better by the enhanced excalibur itself or guthix's blessing. Only have to sacrifice an inventory slot for the sword rather than the cape slot too.

Ranged cape is great for fights where you have to change combat styles.

You're not alone, a large part of the playerbase shares your opinion. Fortunately Jagex is going to address it ''''at some point'''' this year in order to ensure players don't feel ''''''forced''''' to complete a list of tasks every day.

I just realized I only need one more hilt to have an even drop rate between them and leg pieces

Do you have 99 range? It's pretty easy to kill rorarii. I used 1 4 dose overload potion though. Just gathered up a bunch and aoe'd them.

First of all, how do I turn off this obnoxious "Everything goes shaded out and we force you to go here, do X action" shit. Second, should I wait to get decent-ish skills with my F2P account before becoming a member again? Like, getting to the level of being able to wear Rune plate, being able to mine coal, chop decent wood, and so on.

Also, just a little side thing, but holy shit have they changed stuff. Not sure how I feel about the skill hotbars, they definitely add more engagement than just clicking once on an enemy but they also feel kind of clunky.

Ultimately it's up to you. Members have received a shit ton of content since the last time you played, both for high and low levels but some people might prefer to use F2P to get a good feel for the game's basics and in order to decide whether or not they want to subscribe (Keep in mind that it's possible to sub using ingame currency now)
I'd say you should do all the F2P quests first and then upgrade.

EOC (The name of the new combat system) can be a bit clunky, especially at lower levels where you hardly have any abilities unlocked. If you don't feel like manually activating every single ability you can turn on the Revolution mode which essentially just queues your basic abilities.
