Yes. Genuinely jealous of all the fast "regular" cars Americans get. That Accord would be faster than 95% of the cars you'll see on the road in the UK.

My brother has a stage 1 2015 wrx and a 2015 accord beats him from a roll every time.

The current tune on my FiST advertises a 5.8 second to 60, and I have stickier tires than stock. I think it'd be a close race.

The problem with Germany for this thread is exactly this: one day you'll be sitting in 8am traffic, surrounded by 1.9TDi Golfs and 116d and all sorts of tradies in Transporters and Transits and hungarian truckers, and so on... and you'll think that the "insane german car culture" is just a meme.

And in the evening of the same day you'll be casually doing 200 following an A8 W12 in the middle lane of a silky smooth, near empty autobahn, simultaneously overtaken by a 911 on the right and a fucking AMG GT on the left, and think that Germany is the greatest country a car guy could wish for.

V6 gen coupe GT. Same quarter and 60 time but rear wheel and I still fit my kid in the back easily. Still comfy. Turns faster, stops faster. So no my car's not slower.

Yes, much slower. I've traded speed for lightweight RWD dorifto. My current 0-60 is 8 sec at best.

I had an '06 STi, I tuned it to 19 psi on 93 US-octane with ROMraider and ECUtuner after spending less than $800 on a used GReddy + Cobb turbo-back exhaust. I ran 12.8 the only time I took it to a strip, 0-60 was under 4.5 sec, it would go 175 mph... But straight line speed isn't as thrilling as it should be, and there are serious (legal and safety) risks involved. After 8 tickets in 6 years, evading arrest several times, and insurance threatening to drop me it was time to give the turbo life up. Sure, beating C5 Vettes on the street was cool, but after the street racing scene died around 2009 there wasn't much point.

Also, I'm not impressed when someone just WOTs it in a stock automatic car.
