I've recently got back into CSGO after playing off and on since its release. Are casual vanilla community servers completely dead?

I wouldn't mind the terrible map pool and sketchy skill levels of Valve's Casual servers, but they completely remove the economy aspect of the game.

In 1.6 and Source I played on servers with good sized map pools, with fun custom maps like nightfever, vegas, the CPL maps, etc, but I can't find anything like this is GO now. Any better way to filter through servers? or does anyone know of a server like this on US West?

No, servers like that don't really exist anymore. I can find a few 5v5 community servers but they usually are either dust only or the standard rotation. I haven't seen a good old 16v16 custom maps server in a while, although there may one hidden somewhere?

Or rather, if they do, they simply aren't populated.

What are some underrated skins? I just got interested in StatTrak and skins, and everyone memes about Asiimov and Redline when they look unsuiting trash. I just got a Fubar Sawed-Off and a Man-O'-War Negev, both StatTrak and less than 35 cents. I wish the Cartel AK had gotten the same treatment but enough people have enough taste to keep the price up. Condition quality is a meme and I'm surprised some skins don't get more expensive with wear.
