It's been several years, I'm more than ready.

The grey-face bug is just a conflict between two mods that alter textures of the face. Just uncheck them all and test which ones conflict.

Very very easy as far as texture editing goes. Just drew some red on a separate layer under the eyes, blurred it, set it to overlay and lowered the opacity.

Don't use fire spells against dunmer, don't use frost spells against nords. Poison and Shock spells are nice middle grounds. Once you reach lategame, be aware of reflect/absorb magicka effects.

Don't specialize too hard, spread your money around and get lots of cheap spells in different schools and try them out. Play around with spellmaking when you get the chance. Join the mages guild and get those free magicka potions as fast as you can. You might wanna learn how to craft your own as well. Consider a sidearm just incase you run out of mana and have no way of getting out of a bad situation.
