De la Fille can't get buffed, her skillset needs a huge 5* to save it. Zeta isn't getting touched because she's getting a new gacha version. Outside of that, the "free" SSRs range from passable (box) to pretty damn good (buffed carmelina).

And Lady Grey already had a 30% def down so she can get it down to 40% by herself so it works well.

A 5* can slap new shit on top of her skillset and make her playable, although probably not good. But I don't know if we're ever going to see a 4th skill 5* again now that new versions of characters are getting added to the regular gacha.
