I know that feeling.

I find pretty much everything about it more interesting as well. That said, it is not hard for me to see why the Second is the better-known one, as it had a much more exciting and rapid flow of events on the surface of things. In terms of the merely military aspect of things, I can't really argue that the Second makes for more interesting reading, but I still find the First more fascinating from an overall historical standpoint, including the buildup to it and its long-term consequences.
