I had a Seat Ibiza, which costs a half that gti, with automatic climate control as STANDARD.

But you know, as is a Volkswagen (even Audi applies too) they have to milk their customers which are too poor to add the option.

An Ibiza is a different car though (cheaper Polo, not a Golf) and maybe they're both from different generations, where yours was newer so those came with aytomatic climate control as standard?

That car, at the moment I took the photo, had 3 years.

It's basically a rebadged Polo with not so fancy interior finish, but the build is of the same quality.

Who cares, what matters is that I paid that car 14.000€ when for the same equipped Polo with the same engine (1.2 TSI) I was asked 18.700€ (included discount) at the dealer.

Lumia 1020 for the precision, it only says that I have good taste when it comes to camera phones.

The Seat is produced at the Martorell Seat Plant, in Spain...among with some Audi models.

If the car is a 2008 model avoid the 1.2 TSI unless the engine did EVERY single recall at the timing belt, the wastegate and some other shit. Of course avoid the DSG without questions.

My car was a MY2012 and was the last model with the 8 valves 1.2 TSI because as of today the 1.2 TSI ha 16 valves and 110 hp.

This engine is possibly the best engine for this car because the alternatives are the diesels (aka the dieselgate engines) and the utterly shit unreliable 1.4 TSI twincharged with the 100% failure rate DSG7.

My suggestion is: look for a restyling model (like ex mine) 1.2 TSI, manual and FR. They're cheap.
