Looking for car recomendations 10k budget

Hello fellow memembers
I'm looking to get a car 2010 and newer and 40000 miles or less. Relaible and comfortable for long trips.
So far I came down to
Corrola 2012-
Mazda 6 2010-2012
Mazda 3 2012-
Impreza if im lucky 2010-2011

I'm a tall guy so have to test drive those. Corrola was alright for a short trip.

Any recomendations?

My buddy has a Mazda 6 and he seems to like it, I've taken a few trips in it and it seems nice. Kinda gutless though

I think you'd be crazy to get anything other than the Mazda 6

Try the Scion xD, or Scion xB. Toyota so reliable, and they're boxy so lots of room. I would recommend the xD over the xB as the 2.4L in the xB is known for oil consumption.

Post your local Craigslist. Cash or financing?

Is there difference between Bose stereo or stock?

Wait like 3-6 months before buying.
The local dealerships here have a massive inventory of 2016s and 2017s that people are turning in.

They're priced well below KBB value because they can't get rid of them fast enough.
If the market is anything like it is here, prices will continue to plummet so your $10k will go a lot farther.

You can get a later model Kia for 10 grand, tax and all.
They've really turned their reputation around these last few years.

I heard their engines werent wet blasted after molding and honning process. Metal debris would be left behind

Get a toyota truck. Very reliable

stop caring about year and mileage. just get a civic for 3k. you're obviously not an enthusiast.

If the stock is anything like the stock mazda 3 stereo then fuck yea. Its a piece of shit

Bose is the premium.
Stock radio is great. You're a piece of shit

jetta gli. most fun for your money

If you're looking at a 10-12 6, you should also consider the same year Fusions/MKZ

Op here I think I will finance new
mazda 3 2014 12k
toyota camry 2012 13k
toyota corrola 2014 14k
subaru legacy 2011 13k
2012 Toyota Corolla LE

Will go trough college take care of it then trade it in for something more fun once I finish my program

I'd recommend Corolla, just bought one myself and aside from the CVT sounding/accelerating like complete ass it's a nice little modern shitbox. The mpg's are crazy and you know it'll be reliable. Shop around, I recently got a pre-owned fully loaded '15 S model with low miles for about 17k if you can flex your budget a little

Should JD Power ratings token seriusly? Mazda 3 is like rated 2 on interior and acessories reliability

Considering they've been giving GM and Chevy awards, no they're a fucking joke

Stop wasting money. You'd be that much closer to buying a house or being debt free if you got a car for a few grand now

2012 Scion tC's aren't too expensive, this one was only 10k
