You always start at camp and there are 4 stacks of 10 Supply Med+, 10 rations, mini whetstones and whatnot. Even 2 Max Potions. The only gimmick is that you need to be very careful with planting the one trap you get and not wasting the tranqs.

4th gen had a lot of baggage bringing back old gen monsters and updating them, took much heavier preference than bringing in new content. Did better with some (Teo, Cham) than others (Kush, Fatalis). Apex was the true aim for endgame monsters.
