I just try to get summoned as a visitor to the final area, so I can run straight to the boss with the host. However, a lot of people doing that mission just summon for help right from the start and if I get summoned at any shrine other than the last one I just leave. I've gotten a LOT of hatemail as a result.

I see them as two different games. I enjoy souls style of combat a lot, and would be dissapointed if it became like Nioh.
Nioh on the other hand feels very similar to ninja gaiden to me. I would want some of the combat mechanics on Nioh to be improved somewhat, mostly to make boss fights more fun and less cheesing.

If Dark souls were to implement Gore, I would want the gore to be like bloodbornes, not Niohs. Nioh is very very little, I see more blood at my work then I see in this game.

If From were to make another souls game it should just be another one, only instead of victorian or medieval spooky atmosphere it should be sci-fi like armored core. Throw in a bunch of made up scientificey words like kojima particles with their vagure storytelling/lore and I would buy 10 copies

i guess i should have expanded on the gore part. i want them to make it better. Make it more viceral by showing cuts, bruises ,lacerations etc. Something similar to doom or world at war. Make me feel like im cutting down a beast .
