Could anyone of you guys link me an english translation link for those absurd chinese/korean kof manga's you are posting around here? You know, those comics in where Kyo's girlfriend tries to kill him for being an asshole and Kyo and Iori are drag racing with their fathers car.

The only ones I knew where translated where the 2003 ones and I only bought like the first one.

I really am curious as to what's going on in the minds of the people making these things

The original Metal Slug. I know it's not the best, but it was my first contact with SNK as far as I can remember. Was the first one I could beat without continues, also Morden destroying the floor under you then having to take down all those planes has a special spot in my memory.

Fug, it's been a long ass time since I played it. I don't quite remember, if it does I think it's fixed depending on the characters.

it's not team compatibility moreso than it is just general alignment, and then they have specific characters they like/don't like/are neutral to which determines if the character preceding the next one in line to fight will give the latter an extra bar or whatever bonus, though it only matters in advanced mode i guess (i never really played with that feature)

I think it does not exist in 98 um.. something I wished they had left in since I find the concept pretty cool and quite helpful lore wise in which of the characters tend to like or hate one another. Lucky pretty much like almost everyone.

It's a cool concept, but it feels like it limits your team choices so I'd rather be without it to be honest. Realizing characters I enjoyed playing had bad compatibility was the main reason I quit 98, so if it's not in UM I'm willing to give it a try.

How the heck are you supposed to clear out these Extra Ops in Metal Slug Attack? I ran tons of raids for Signal Red on Hell difficulty, and I couldn't get that little gauge with the Robot head full in time.

Im trying to go off of the game's story to see who might be a fit. SNK likes to mention a lot of their characters even when they're not in active roster and a lot of them often show up in endings.

Left could be Kasumi with her hair down sitting seiza style but Whip is always around in K and Ikari endings. Mary is pretty tight with the Fatal Fury crew and even when the game launched everyone thought it was weird that Ramon showed up with no Vanessa
