The Honda NSX is the greatest mid engine rear wheel drive car ever made

The Honda NSX is the greatest mid engine rear wheel drive car ever made

>The Honda NSX is the greatest car ever made
Fixed

It isn't but it is really goddamn good.
T. honda hater.

This was true in 1999.

Not with a transverse mounted econobox drivetrain it isn't. Lazy engineering.

>any car with it's wheels behind the front axle is mid engine
>the nsx is far from the greatest

I like the new one better.
>AWD
>Forced induction
>Hybrid
>DCT
>21 MPG City
God machine.

Owned 3

They're slow

>3200lbs despite the aluminum chassis
>280hp from a v6
why is this thing good again?

Nice try, OP, but it's this.

Never really thought they were that cool until i was out on Angels Crest highway a month ago and was stopped on the side of the road to check out the view. This older guy pulls up in a black NSX that's in PERFECT condition.

Its just such a cool car. Would definitly still have bought a 993 back in the 90's but damn is it a cool looking car

We had a couple richfags in that team I was in between 2007-09. One of these wealthy muhfuggas owned this fully-sikk NSX (he's the dude wearing jeans in the pic) and it fucked ppl up on a daily basis..

I actually prefer SW20 MR2s though -come at me.

fuckin up mad ppl in that hooters parking lot

sw20 is great and has many advantages over nsx like not having gay ass vtec.
zzw30 is just better for race than sw20.
But nsx is a god machine.

AE86 Sprinter Trueno

Wrong.

Wrong.

brap brap

Yeah, an American 5L v8 that makes 180hp is way better

Not mid-engine.

Mid-engine means the engine is mounted behind the driver, but in front of the rear axle.

Can I play too?

>1993 Ford Mustang SVO: 235 HP from a V8
>1993 Corvette: 250 HP from a V8, the ZR-1 (which Lotus needed to be involved with so it wouldn't suck) was over $60,000
>1993 Camaro: 160 HP from the V6

>Heavier and less powerful than a corvette of the same year

ding ding ding

dare I say it? its riced out in the worst way too.

the hood looks terrible and the wheels don't fit the car at all.

this on the other hand is a track slut and looks great.

middu-ship!!???

Gordon Murray drove the NSX when developing the F1 and threw out all other benchmarks for the car. I think he owned and NSX as well

In 10 years I might actually be able to buy one, already missed out on the first one

what purpose do the hood vents serve

Allow the hot air that passes through the radiator to escape easily

the vq30 was making 190hp around the same time

The interior is covered in plush leather, the seats were power adjustable in all sorts of ways, and it had a kick ass sound system

See

>1993 Corvette: 250 HP
>which Lotus needed to be involved with so it wouldn't suck
If an NSX was barely faster with more power and less weight it didn't suck at all.

It was also luxurious at the same time

T b h every single thing you posted is not a pro lmao.

truely the Japanese Godmachine

HURRR WHY ISNT AN AVERAGE JOES SPORTS CAR IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS A MID ENGINED TECHNOLOGY MARVEL

that's just like your opinion man

>AWD gripu isn't a pro
>forced induction isn't a pro
>a faster transmission isn't a pro
>better MPG than its predecessor whilst having a lot more power isn't a pro

Back to r9k kid
