You're deluding yourself. Vanilla WoW is nothing more than a numbers game. 90% of the "skill" involved in tanking comes from gear selection and actually using consumables, since most of the fights are nothing beyond tank/spank.

The sad thing about Grizzly is that they genuinely believe they're "elite" players. However, the sad reality is that the people who do well in vanilla, including those who made it far in the retail version of the game, only do so because they are willing to neglect their personal lives for the sake of autistic farming. It just so happens that Grizzly is the guild where most of these people congregate, giving them the appearance of an "elite" guild.

If you were to analyze the personal lives of Grizzly members, you would neither find scholars nor undiscovered geniuses. Instead, you would find Eurotrash welfare recipients, NEETs, and more generally, losers with no real achievements who use their "accomplishments" in a video game to shield their egos.
