Obviously keeping big balance changes for 3.0

pathetic way to shit on the player base

>Illuminated Devotion (Hierophant) now grants 40% increased area of effect.
Would this be worth rushing now, with the downside of delaying your "more totems"

But why would you use quill rain with physical skills? Who uses it for anything but explosive arrow?

...

you are a freak mate
seriously you need to find a new hobby
i bet you called for blood when they announced the xbox version

>tfw your build didn't get nerfed

only acceptable skills for 2.6
blade flurry
spooky toss
spark
flameblast
cleave

most changes directed at a different player base.

>cleave
>when lacerate exists

Who /vaal spark/ here

The only thing you should be rushing on a Hierophant is toward the delete character button.

looks like I'll just go pizza sticks as starter yet again

i bet you actually have hobbies, shitbird.

HoWaA untouched?

Shrapnel Shot checking in

>lacerate
>When AoE got gutted

Many of Path of Exile's most desirable unique items were only available during past leagues.
In the Legacy league, when a leaguestone is active, you have a chance to find unique items from that league.
We have reviewed league-specific uniques dating back to the first challenge leagues and have """""improved""""" many that we felt were not relevant to the current state of Path of Exile.

No scion changes

It's really fucking obvious they phoned it in and kept everything for 3.0 on purpose

How fucking hard is it to buff some numbers on the scion tree?

Reach of the Council? More like Dump of the Council

Yep. Claw nodes also got a lot of buffs and all purpose leech now, maybe making it even stronger.

free

ha

more like waste 100 runs on zero payoff for a challenge

they just fixed uniques from like 2-3 years ago so im going to guess 5 minutes too long

still need to wait another day before making build because I need tree

HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT

So what are optons left for ranger. Suicide?

ele melee, melee, caster, rolling a good bow

council pieces will be cheaper now

increased AOE gem nerfed hard
conc effect nerfed damage wise but reduces area less

raider is still great on just about anything

> howa
> completely untouched
> vaal pact + ghost reaver
> completely untouched

Blade flurry is still king, one of the few skills to not have its AoE completely gutted. 15% less damage at max level... so you now deal 255k dps instead of 300k? It's still better damage wise than alternatives.

Ice Crash might be viable since hrimburn now makes it 100% conversion I believe so you can abuse cold pen and hypothermia double dipping ignite.

Breach+Talisman+Torment masterrace

Tell me about these mele only builds.

Just because it's cheap doesn't mean anyone will want it.

Why does that matter when none of them are worth using now?

>The Gull: Now has 30-40% Cold Resistance. Now has 60-80 Maximum Life. Now has 40-65 Maximum Energy Shield. No longer has Life and Energy Shield gained on kill. No longer has Maximum Mana.

patch notes don't mention the new meme mod on it. i wonder if there are any other uniques with new meme mods that the patch notes failed to mention?

So... claws are good now, right? I can powerlevel by dual-wielding them now, right?

Terminus Est flicker theory crafting only

>fixed
>taking uniques that people vendored for years and giving them all slight number buffs

wow what an insane amount of work

Howa. freezing pulse. blade flurry.

so when does the new tree get released for us to toy with

>>>>SCHEDULE
Thursday (NZT): Skill Tree and Item Filter Information
Friday (NZT): Two-day character slot sale information.
Saturday (NZT): Content Update 2.6.0 and the Legacy Challenge Leagues launch!

don't forget ES untouched patch after patch

patch notes are written by an unethical retard who slaves over them like a will but constantly fucks up. you decide.

spank you very much

life
the red trail
raider aimed down to duelist
dying instantly to reflect before you realize it's a reflect mob

are there skill tree changes that arent public still?

ES sort of got tapped, Vaal Discipline no longer adds any extra ES, which with any decent build was almost permanent uptime +7-9K ES.

anything to please the new player base

>lifeniggers cry about having approximately 1.6% less EHP than a minmaxed ES autist
>life gets buffed
>"NOOOOOOOOOO NOT GOOD ENOUGH YOU HAVE TO NERF THEM AS REPARATION!!!!!!"

It's nice they buffed so many uniques and nerfed a few ones but there was literally no reason to delay the nerf to HoWaA until 3.0 especially in the same patch they make Blood Drinker and Soul Raker generic attack damage leech AND add more WED clusters, what the FUCK are they thinking, is there a single person in the GGG's "balance" team that doesn't foresee how stupidly meta the build will become????? Yes I'm fucking mad they didn't even BOTHER trying to be subtle about it

Sibyls is 40% reflect reduction now, surely there is a way to reduce enough reflect for it to be trivial.

Dying to reflect is just the flicker life

Did srs got nerfed in ANY way? I guess I know my league starter

Empire's grasp chin sol puncture totems

howaa and howaa like uniques are the future of path of exile

see: brutus lead, geofri's sanctuary, shapers touch etc in this patch notes

I dont think that's what that person said at all. Relax

>1.6%

LOL

>ehp

I've never played mines/traps. Would this league be a good one to run a starter character as one?

That's a lean, mean pinto bean.

they dont care.

EK, Vspark, or HoWA?

AoE changes affected everyone using auras. This includes SRSers. Minimal changes otherwise, unset rings now being able to roll +gem level might be a nice indirect summoner buff seeing as they tend to be starved on sockets.

>HoWAbabbs in charge of DPS
Scourge BF deals an order of magnitude more DPS than that, even without abyssus.

>Weapon critical strike chances have been adjusted. Most critical chance values have been reduced on base types that could have over 6.5% base critical chance. Italics: This is to create a more distributed choice of weapon types for critical strike characters.

>Thrusting swords that granted Critical Multiplier now grant +25%/+35% Critical Strike Multiplier, down from +30%/+50%. Using a Blessed Orb will update existing weapons to these new values.

not especially. but you certainly can. Deerstalkers gt a minor buff if you want to try leveling with traps

>Siosa now sells all quest gems once you've completed his quest and the quests required to unlock the appropriate tiers of gem rewards
does this mean all quest gems for all classes or just your own?

>Pure Elemental vs Double Dipping

Give me a good reason why you aren't buying reach of the councils on standard right now to price gouge them for 10x the price after 2.6 hits

they released the exact nerf to dagger implicits a few days ago. it's whatever

>standard

1h sword Wild Strike Elementalist here we go.

Gonna stakc all these MORE like there's no tomorrow.

>The Nihilist's item prefix that gave +1 to socketed Chaos Gems now appears on level 4 items and above, down from level 40. Added a new mod, Anarchist's, that grants +2 to socketed Chaos Gems.
Can't see this affecting ED builds since 1h weapon options are so strong, maybe Blight in a +2 staff is slightly less shit now?

I only have 7 ex , 11ex if I sell all my fuses

>nerf the best bow into worthless junk
>buff fucking infractem to be 1% less shitty
>buff quill rain to be 10% less shitty but still unusable by anything other than explosive arrow
>nerf the best quiver
>chain support is still garbage-tier
>fork support is still trash

all

saddest thing ive read in the saddest general

All quests for all classes, this was specifically meant to help SSF

because i dont give a shit about standard
already bought 1 good reach bow at end of breach

Fire nova with duel consuming can kill shaper in 3 seconds.

You can go full meme with Xoph's Nature/Signal/Taming/Emberwake
only 99999999ex

EK nova looks cool

but won't I have problems with single target dps?

Rigwald's Quills is king

xoph's is bad and you should feel bad for suggesting it

fuck SSF, now I finally don't have to deal with those poetrade faggots who are all afk selling level 1 gems for an alc and when I finally reach one that isn't afk it's a chaos and I have wasted 10 minutes of my time PMing people.

So here's what I got so far for Terminus Est Crit Raider

not if you concentrate real hard and tilt your screen for bosses

>tfw I was doing this build as started pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1696139/page/1
Welp, it is like destiny wants me to to HoWaA again.

How can you level with Flamebast? Its so awkward to use, just standing there like a chump til its fully stacked

Or am i a fucking retard and im missing something?

idk what flicker numbers were before but that's not good friend.

Melee Splash was buffed a bit since the AoE change annoucement. Still falls off if you're stacking a bunch of AoE, but it's better by itself than it was previously.

Current L20 Melee Splash: 871.96 area
Old New L20 Melee Splash: 849.73 area (-2.6% difference)
New New L20 Melee Splash: 966.73 area (+10.8% difference)
Current L20 Melee Splash + L20 Inc AoE: 1684.72
Old New L20 Melee Splash + L20 Inc AoE: 1266.10 (-24.9% difference)
New New L20 Melee Splash + L20 Inc AoE: 1440.42 (-14.6% difference)

Generally you don't, especially if you use totems. Use other shit until your cast speed is high enough.

Getting Crit, Frenzy Charges, and Life is nigh impossible.

AoE > cast speed - a 4 stack will kill most mobs, but wont' hit them all
always run ahead and bait several packs together when you blow them up with flameblast

Going SSF necromancer, probably SRS
