This is lame as shit. My only fun in OW is comp because I prefer "serous" game modes were people try to win and not fuck around. I play lots of games and often I only get a few games of OW in a week but now it feels like work just to stop SR decay. I quit playing CSGO to play OW back when OW comp came out but after this I think I'm going to stop caring about OW comp and go back to CSGO because they don't require weekly time investment.

You don't have to play every day. Every game you play prolongs the decay by 24 hours up to a maximum of 1 week.

there is no decay whatsoever in dota 2's rank and in csgo you have to be inactive for a month to lose your rank (and even then the invisible rank decays very slowly)

It's true though. S1 calibrated me at rank 48. S3 sent me straight to gold and was giving me 35-40 SR per win and taking away 10-15 per loss.

if you're better than your starting rank, you'll get there eventually anyways, so who cares
