Damn, got in just in time to see some actual classics.
Damn, I didn't get the Stutz.
No joke I'd go for this LaSalle though.
This fucker's huge.
This one sold for $66k.
...
>Corvettes going for less than $100k
>one selling for less than $50k
holy shit
It's like the room is full of Teabaggers who refuse to pay the Boomer Tax.
most Corvettes arent worth that much
usually only C2 Corvettes or C3s with 427s go for much
Yeah, but one of them was a split rear windo '63.
>Hemi Cuda
here comes the money
I missed it, what was the selling price?
$180,000
the 63 isnt the desireable year
and if it doesnt have numbers matching everything and low miles and factory air then no one wants it
2013 cts-v coupe
8k miles
no reserve
sold: 47,500
It was a numbers matching 4 speed with aftermarket air
>63 isn't the desirable year
Nigger what? It's THE desirable year
maybe to you, but you dont have any money and you arnt there buying it so its not desirable
I guess a zl1 would be higher, but the odds that you see one at auction are next to zero.
That being said I don't acknowledge people who can't punctuate or spell, or even use proper sentence structure.
Purdy.
Nigga what? The split rear window coupe is THE desirable coupe. They always command higher prices than other C3 coupes.
good for you
watch the auctions im sure there was a zl1 up at some point this weekend
>THEY ALWAYS COMMAND HIGHER PRICES
no they dont, the real world is not like what goes on in your head
Considering the market isn't up right now, and only ~95 motors where produced, with two being production cars, I doubt it.
OH SHIT IT'S ADORABLE
>Crosley
not my favorite model but hell yeah motherfucker
good thing Super Sports and Hot Shots are much more cheaper
mecum.com
around lot s100 shit is gonna start to get good, lamos porsche and ferraris
I'm basing that off of price history, you idiot.

It's consistently valued higher than equally equipped coupes from the other years of the C3 generation.
s101 is a pantera, im eager to see what the market does on that
>didn't get a big shot of the Crosley
Dammit.
why not just use Mecums site
valued and sold for are 2 totally different things
you are actively watching market trends when you watch these auctions
they are not currently desirable
Sounds like a pasta dish
also another split window is gonna be lot s130
>Chrysler 300F is coming up in 3 cars
OH SHIIIIIIIIT
MUH DIQQQQQ, why do they have to be so fucking overpriced???
best moment from the beginning of the auction
barrett-jackson.com
barrett jackson is also livestreaming their auction
Because they're rare as fuck.
>Didn't sell
Damn mang
I would buy that Chevelle for 40k.
>but I'd rather have a Cuda
Seller wanted closer to $150k-$160k.
Rascal spotting!
RICHARD PETTY ON SCREEN
No one wants to fucking buy this hat
They did tho.
1 guy
>FJ Land Cruiser
whoa shit
>sold for 30k
Seems underpriced for a FJ tbqh.
>16977086
automatic bentley
this auctioneer is a tard
These boomers have/want too much money
nothings hitting reserve but people are still bidding higher than they really should
I like to play a game where I close my eyes and guess what the price of the car is based on the auctioneer's noise
Holy shit. What is the auctioneer doing
Welcome to
>"I know what I got"
The TV show
Convincing the seller to take the reserve off so they can actually sell the car.
>Fisker sold for $43k
Impressive.
Oh hey, Boomers knowing what an import is worth.
I'm amazed at how those have appreciated
these are actually quite significant
mostly because of the weird as fuck doors
how do these auctions even work?
are they all assumed as stock or something? They're all just bidding based on how it looks on the outside and what year/model it is?
auctioneer is blatantly saying the bid is too low for a old car while the audience is just dead silent, is that even normal
>RESERVE IS - ..
>IT'S A NO RESERVE CAR. IT'S NEVER HAD A RESERVE
are the bidders just clueless or what the fuck is even going on
The car is available for viewing 1-5 days before the auction. If you want to know more you contact the seller prior to the auction for test drives, inspections, authentication, appraisals etc.
>these cars with triple digit miles
So what, you can essentially buy a 15 year old car new? Or do these people selling them think you'll not drive them at all like they did?
A lot of the time it's 3 digit miles since restoration which could mean literally anything.
They said the 2002 camaro and firebird were original miles.
>the audience is just dead silent
The place is LOUD. Seriously, it's headache inducing so there's no extraneous conversation going on. Authorized bidders are in a relatively small area just in front of the stage with some agents on the phone with phone bidders (shills really) at tables behind. The rest to the sides and further in the back are just observers.
You're thinking of the z1
fucking way too much for a mustang, idgaf if its a gt350
>80k for a 55 bel air
fucking boomers, i tell you hwat
>auctioneeer insulting audience
If the car isn't worth that much people won't pay it.
Oh BABY
that auctioneer was spazzing out over that merc
>oh go ahead, wait for that ferrari, you might not get that either and you go home with nothing
>no dont ask him, he's a naysayer
>this ought to be in australia
the fuck is his problem, he waited so long for someone to bid 280, just close it at fucking 275 already ffs
fuck off with this charity bullshit, keep selling cars you dicks
>10k for the jersey
no
>85k for a 69 Camaro
What in the fuck are these boomers thinking
nigger you are retarded. i wouldnt expect any different from a namefag
>salmon ranchero
I like it.
I missed most of yesterday's thread. Did anything noteworthy come through?
$900 automatic integra, not even in good shape and mildly riced
It's amazing to see cars sell for double of what most houses cost.
It's amazing to see no interest in this Testarossa.
Right?! I was thinking the same thing.
You need to look at market trends. Classic cars are down from a few years ago, and there's still a lot of testarossas out there.
I'm more surprised that the Daytona didn't sell. Late 60s/early 70s are hot right now.
Another thing is I bet people were buying classics because they thought Obama was going to ban fun cars, same with guns. Turns out more guns and classics where traded then ever when he was in office and they feel safe knowing that Trump is in office.
I wonder how much money just all the camaro's have made when this is all over
good lord
Was at Barrett Jackson today and saw a 69 mustang go for 265K
>stream switches to NBC commentary instead of a straight stream of the auction
LAME
>old concept of a 3 pedal manual transmission with a 6 speed
fucking boomers man
And it's back to normal.
>all these restomods
hey thanks man
George?
GEORGE?
Oooo, 1991 NSX.
an nsx whoa coo-
>auto
>$42k
>withdrawing your bid after the bidding closed
>6 speed Ford GT
Nice.
And the autistic boomer is back.
