AFAIK the difficulty level of the paralogues rises with the main story progress, so don't wait too long. Some can get a little frustrating, since some are rescue missions etc. I usually try to get them done before chapter 20, but that's just me.

apparently if you roll a character for the first time legitimately that you have already made a morph of they will still have a ! denoting it's a new unit to your collection. So at the very least there is data stored that incriminate most morphed accounts.
