Seriously, people bitch about Warden and PK and Orochi, but not one of them have been as utterly frustrating as that asshole.

Currently revenge gear builds revenge retarded fast, makes you nigh unkillable and gives absolutely ridiculous damage.

Like you can literally build revenge off two parries if you're geared for it and if you're playing Shugoki you can one shot people, most others need to do 2 at least.

That's not even taking into account stuff like feats that make you unthrowable and how busted the bleed feats are in revenge.

id say the main complaint is the speed in which it builds

if someone gets revenge you could just turtle until it runs out then go back to playing normally, the problem is that as soon as their revenge is done its up again in 3 seconds

Conqueror is not nearly as strong in 1v1 as people are making him out to be. Any potential nerf because of a couple degenerates using him in week 1 tournaments will completely ruin him if he is not compensated somehow.

Warlord and PK are the only ones who must be nerfed. Shugoki must be nerfed in group fights.

Because, like roaches, they're everywhere. It seems that they make up over 90% of the playerbase sometimes.

Peacekeeper doesn't really need to be nerfed, what needs to happen is everyone being able to change guards at the same speed (even if you still can't attack after changing guards very fast), right now she's just the gatekeeper that keeps any of the slow characters from ever seeing much play.

Bleed shouldn't be able to kill in vidya, atleast have the opponent a last fighting chance. The bleed feature as it is now will only be abused by bleed pokers.

Chip damage killing isnt however

chip damage should be a thing and kill, especially considering that your health regens to 1 bar automatically

This is true on most classes but vikings and laws. I know raider and lawbringer need that to win, but warlords and now valks sure do not.

Why the hell this isn't a thing from the start, and why some classes are crippled with slow stance changing speed is beyond my understanding. What's the point in making some heroes literally unable to keep up with enemy attacks, when they all do about as much damage and have about as much health. Stance change speed is a clear and overwhelming advantage in this game compared to everything else.

Chip damage IS a thing. There is no reason it should kill. Its meant to punish block and cause pressure, not kill people.

chip damage is not a thing unless you have a feat that only a few characters have, and feats aren't in 1s or 2s

Chip damage is only not a thing on lights. Heavies all do chip damage and that's without any feat or gear.

It doesn't really do enough damage to warrant all the complaints it gets. It's just a quick little move to break up stalemate and stop people turtling.

Please, play the game some more before talking about things you don't understand.

Just assume they're always gonna throw it out, and it becomes a lot easier to deal with.

i started playing conq occasionally the other day after maining shugoki and the difference is utterly insane, i didnt think it was that bad

Warden Zone is punished with a GB if you sniff it out too. So it actually has risk, something Pk wouldn't know.

The difference is when you block a Warden zone attack, he loses over 50% of his stam and is vulnerable to a free Guardbreak counter.

Peacekeeper on the other hand just rolls to a side or keeps mashing light attack at you.

Alright /fhg/ what do I level next? I did Law in the first few days when matchmaking wasn't shit, then I maxed out warden and now I'm working on valk. I kinda want to do a weeb class but can't into nobushit or shugoki. I still haven't leveled an assassin yet

Not everyone plays an assassin class, like you do.

Any character that can easily break his hyperarmour has a massive advantage against him. Peacekeeper, Orochi, Warden for example, with their double hits and extremely fast attack speed mean you throw that advantage out the door.

He does perform pretty well against warlord and conqueror, the other two most popular strong characters, so that's a huge thing going for him.

Kensei is very good.

Kensei doesn't have any similar gimmick that new players think would be an unstoppable chain. Just solid all around.

No. that webm doesn't have wallstun/stagger. The carry also only guarantees a light only. I know that Zone is guaranteed off of a GB, I was just surprised by that dude doing it off of a parry, which made me think that you can't parry the zone either

Unless you are playing LB, Raider, Shugoki or whoever the last guy is who can't change blocks quickly enough, you should be able to react to the top light. While it's fast, it's pretty generous on the parry timing.

I'll use it near cliffs where I can usually get a guard break throw in there but otherwise I usually just go for parry, overhead and zone as my main damage dealers
