Make every skill a macro with Bloodletter first, then the skill.

Alternately set a larger-size skillbar in the middle of the screen, position Bloodletter so it's right in your field of view, and hide unused slots. That way you see immediately when it's not greyed out anymore

Just frequently look at your BL icon and mash your BL button a lot and you might do what that spoiler says too. But never ever macro BL to anything, it's terrible.

Not necessarily! There are a few things that are very convenient to macro but they don't really impact your dps.

Like what? I've been nearly allergic to macros so far, if there are any that are useful and don't affect your actual damage output that could be fun to tinker with.

Back when I played I had several macros set up for controlling my fairies. There was a rez macro too.

Shiva has a VG linkshell that has 5-6 people are pretty active in it. It's not huge, but they're there.

Mostly scholar stuff. Warden's Paean for BRD, B4B off macros are pretty useful and I use one, Flaming Arrow macros because that ability is a bitch to use without at least a queue macro, etc.
