The idea was to expand it beyond playing with people you already know, give randoms a reason to cooperate and let the players that are interested in making money gravitate together without needing to fuck around on SC or discord or whatever else, they wouldn't even need to stay together, a player could help out for one mission and then jump to a different CEO, hopping from group to group as hired muscle.

I really like meeting random people in online games, playing together for a bit and then going our own ways without any expectation on either side, some of my best memories come from these short-term connections with complete strangers and it's what keeps me interested in games instead of just paying singleplayer and dropping it once I've had my fill.

Bordered Windowless or Fullscreen? I've been using Fullscreen but the slow typing alt tab bug pisses me off no end. I also think I get stutter/worse FPS in borderless but maybe it's just in my head.

You do get stutters in borderless because rockstar is shit.

Install "borderless gaming" from the GitHub and it makes GTA run in borderless window without the stutter. Make sure you launch the program while GTA is in window mode. The program will then make that window the resolution of your screen with no window border.

Honestly I play windowed and just deal with it, it lets you play with another window selected which is really great when you're waiting on a loading screen and need to shitpost.

I use borderless window so I can tab out without the game having an autism attack

it also prevents you from being kicked from a lobby if you tab out for more than a minute

Performance makes a difference though, if they're actually high-tier super cars they're gonna be insane, if they're a bit slower and off the pace then maybe a bit more reasonable, but still pricey.
