You will if you're the highest pre-order when it goes to pre-order. Depends on the item, someone has to post it. When you make the notice, you'll get a pop-up when one gets posted. When the notice pops up, 10 minutes afterwards log onto the alt so you can bid on the item. You don't have to sit on the alt.

Play it only if you have a really good PC. Best looking MMO with the best combat right now. It is somewhat p2w, and you might not like the "end game", but the game is cheap, and leveling at least to the soft cap is very fun.
