The Tempest sure, but there were quite a few A/FX and B/FX Comets and over 100 A990s, in a time where they were presumably selling a lot less cars, so it's not like they were completely under the radar, plus their purpose was the exact same as this car, to sell the base models by having the ultimate model be faster than everyone else
