I also have an iPhone 4s. I personally don't have a preference on iPhone vs Android. I'm a no name loser so I don't use it for any social media stuff or any complex tasks. I know Android has a lot more freedom but you have a high possibility of downloading malware. (I've had the iPhone 4s since it was new and it's been reliable.)

PC is greater than Mac, Android is greater than iPhone. But you will get the butthurts who will dispute this because they are fans.

As fare as keeping "tech" Veeky Forums related, than most software you need/want are specific to PC or Linux. Most shit made for cell phones will be both Android or iPhone compatible. It is rare for things to be programmed specifically for one cell phone over the other, since coding now is a click of a button for shit to be converted.

So, for Veeky Forums's purpose, get a PC. For cellphones, it doesn't matter.

Never used a Mac more than a few minutes, so don't know too much about them. Which one is superior? Hard to say but since I do play games occasionally Windows seems more fitting.
The Specs on my PC aren't too fancy, still on stock clock speed so may prolong the life of current PC. i5 3570k with a 960 2GB.

Tried out iPhone for a while but it seems too restrictive for my tastes. I like to rice out my phone and more importantly install apps which are not on the Play Store.
Transferring files seems to be somewhat of an annoyance on iPhone too. I guess upgrading may be better with an iPhone because of the high resale value but I don't buy expensive phones anyways.
Right now I'm using a ASUS Zenfone 2 (4GB), a fast phone for it's price. It's one of the few smartphones that came with a Intel processor, at the time intel was selling these for very cheap so a few manufacturers used them to gain an advantage for the price point. Most apps work fine on this architecture but there is an occasional app here and there that is not compatible at all, so far the only one that doesn't work is Pokemon Go but that's irrelevant to me.

960m is not terrible but I would have held out for a laptop with Pascal as there are no "mobile" versions anymore, giving you a full-house 1060 if you go that route. A pascal powered laptop will push frames for the next ten years.
