Yes, a very tuned 200+bhp version of this engine is great for a car that's sub-500kg.
Not so much for a 1500kg+ car with a non-tuned 120hp version of this engine.

Getting 120hp out of a 1L is fairly impressive for a stock motor. My old gen focus has a 2.0L with only 130hp.
