>it's an "all AI civs denounce, then declare war on you for standing up to the guy who eats capitals for breakfast" episode Enjoy getting conquered by African Hitler you fags
Xavier Martin
>Everyone surrounding me is a pacifist I guess this is my fault for not setting the AI to aggressive.
Matthew Miller
In Stellaris how do I prevent my empire if it's individualist from being mostly xenos? Like I conquer hostile worlds and shit and overtime I notice my empire becomes more Xeno until humans are only like 1/8th of my empire total population, But if I want a kind of mixed human, xeno society though I don't wan't xenos to grow to large in my own empire. Is there anyway I can keep my people as the primary in my empire? Trying to go for a cyberpunk/Militarist themed empire also. Mix of Ghost in the shell/Lain/Starship troopers/Halo.
Gabriel Rogers
>In Stellaris how do I prevent my empire if it's individualist from being mostly xenos? You don't, unless you go for something retarded like Individualist/Xenophobe.
Individualist is the multiculturalist ethic, and this is a game made by Swedes. Prepare to be culturally enriched.
Daniel Torres
>Spectre runs around the system and ends up in my FTL inhibitor on my fortress >luckily there's a SIXTY THOUSAND fleet right next to it >actually manage to kill it >a second spectre comes literally just the day before I strike the first one down >clears the system of FOUR SPACEPORTS >decide to let it stay there for a while since my secondary fleet is not gonna take it down from 60% HP >at the same time the militaristic fallen empire that declared on me for having too much fleet power rolls around its main force on my secondary fleet >clears house because secondary fleet doesn't have a titan >spaceport that is supposed to be pretty strong is actually made of paper and deals less than 1000 damage in a whole month This is my fault for letting too many mods stack onto eachother the spaceport extender is definitely going away, 18 modules is nice unless your spaceport is literally made of paper
Dylan Jenkins
Ugh, because I like the Military Republic government type but the issue is it requires the individualist ethic even though only soldiers can vote. Kind of mad I can't do an oligarchy or Authoritarian government type without it making it sound like my empire is North Korea. Like I wan't to use the Military Junta, or Technocratic government either as an oligarchy or Authoritarian. Like my thing ethics are usually Materialist, Militarist, and the finale is switched around as either xenophobe, Authoritarian or individualist. I just wan't to make a Cyber-Militarist government that treats it's own people well while Xenos are allowed though are clearly secondary citizens.
Gavin Hernandez
>it requires the individualist ethic I dont think so
Zachary Cooper
In base game no but in my increased government types and ethos it does.
William Foster
Republics do not require the individualist ethic, they only require that you do not have the collectivist ethic. Also military republic is kind of a garbage government type. I've long wanted to make one, but the bonuses are just too trash to make anything viable. Can't wait for 1.5 so I can finally make a military republic that isn't trash.
Hunter Clark
Man that looks so cluttered.
Jordan Lee
you can change it by going into the mod files and removing that requirement for the government you want
Christopher Evans
It can be a mess and confusing at first but Ethic&Government Rebuild is one of those mods that once you start using them you'll find it hard to go back to playing Stellaris without 'em.
Gonna be interesting seeing how it will change after 1.5
Eli Peterson

Jacob Watson
>it requires the individualist ethic even though only soldiers can vote.
That makes perfect sense. The Military Republic is a democracy and therefore promotes individual rights. The prerequisite for the franchise, however, is military service.
>I just wan't to make a Cyber-Militarist government that treats it's own people well
Then treat your own people well. Don't use slavery or purge. It's pretty simple. I'm not seeing what your problem is.
Kevin Flores
Not an american here, but what's the problem with California? I thought it was Florida that everyone hated?
Jace Parker
actually 10/10 mod desu, never have i had so much fun playing military industrial, ubermench
Gabriel Watson
>what's the problem with California?
It's full of Californians.
>I thought it was Florida that everyone hated?
I hate Florida too. But I hate California more.
Tyler Fisher
I find it boring when you can just godmode from the start.
Jace Watson
Woops meant for
Carter White
I guess the way the game sounds when you use them sounds like dicks, Like as a Cyber-Authoritarian I notice if rebels pop up my leaders talk about destroying the non-conformist, which just rubbed me the wrong way.
Elijah Nelson
Did you reply to the wrong post?
>I guess the way the game sounds when you use them sounds like dicks
Why?
>Like as a Cyber-Authoritarian I notice if rebels pop up my leaders talk about destroying the non-conformist, which just rubbed me the wrong way.
So you think the appropriate response to armed insurrection is to give them hugs and bonbons?
Gabriel Diaz
>I'm not seeing what your problem is. He wants a democratic empire that allows xenos, but is still human majority. Basically just a few xenos for flavor. Thing is the more you blob and add xeno systems to your empire, the more they are gonna eventually outnumber your founding species unless you prolifically colonize with them.
Joseph Carter
>All those traits
Jason Carter
Yes, see
Dylan Bailey
No Kill the ever loving shit out of them and make an example out of them its just the reason I wan't my leader to hate them is for ruining the unity of my.... Actually I see what your getting at now, I get your point fuck it i'm gonna be the cyber AI god guiding mankind to greatness among the stars all who go against me go against the future security and prosperity of man!
Landon Carter
whats actually interesting is the AI spawns with a equal or greater fuckton of traits also, so i have to stay competitive or get stomped by some herbivore/apexpredator/political genius
it certainly makes interesting games
Robert Adams
how did you test? Is price part of it? why not max out wiht reactors?
Anthony Allen
stop them from migrating
Easton Bennett
why would you add more reactors than absolutely needed?
William Campbell
Surplus energy gives boosts to damage.
Levi Campbell
>military industrial, ubermench >not a military republic of psionic butterflies
Michael Perry
Are those Covenant ships or am I mistaken?
Lucas Bailey
Those are indeed covenant ships. I should probably pick something more fitting.
Wyatt Jackson
any /wgg/ folks know where i can get Gary Grigsby's War in the Pacific
Brody Cooper
>Test out 22 star map from a mod to see if it still works >Try to mess around in it a bit to test mod features >See this
Eli Barnes
>how did you test? console commands. You can spawn ships and do experiments and shit. Conclusions for retards:
base corvettes > everything in the game except specific end-game anti-corvette spec'd BB/Cr
You can beat those spec'd ships with plasma corvettes or base large ships. Technology is a meme in Stellaris.
Jeremiah Collins
i do have to say that sounds very tempting... do you have at least one world named "mothra"?
Jackson Scott
Aaaaand...now all my ships have no armor or shielding, but fight fallen empires to a stand still
Elijah Gonzalez
Are the default species traits okay? I'm thinking of dropping both and picking up Industrious (15% Minerals)
I'm going for a fashy Avatar/Starship Troopers/Russian feel. This would be my first real game so I'm not looking to min/max
Christian Scott
defaults are...okay not min/maxy not really optimal though... if this is your first REAL playthrough you should be fine, but alot of people quickly mod their game because vanilla is...okay...at best.
Robert Barnes
Nomadic is garbage even if you aren't going min/max mode. Would be a good idea to drop it.
Hudson Evans
Is it possible to demolish borough streets in Endless Legend? Search engine and wiki is useless for simple answers.
Gotta do a little replanning.
Luis Foster
but why would anybody be jealous of autism?
Joshua Sanchez
If you aren't nomadic quick learner's you canonically aren't Human
Matthew Sanders
I'm pretty sure it's not possible, sorry user.
Wouldn't adaptive be more in line with how humans are viewed in sci fi?
Jeremiah Howard
>Wouldn't adaptive make more sense Probably but you know paradox... Can't do anything right
Nathaniel Davis
Can you only have slaves if you are xenophobic/collectivist? I want to create an empire that favor certain races but enslaves others but don't want everyone to be pissed off at xenos being free.
Benjamin Ortiz
Keep them on separate planets. Xenophobe pops are only angry when they live on the same planet with not enslaved filthy xeno. Free xenos on other planets don't bother them.
Brayden Ross
>submarines can attack infantry two tiles inland >they use torpedoes >there is a spash animation upon impact
Blake Baker
Civ 6 diplomacy is so much better than Civ 5. They actually give up and offer you more than what you've already conquered when you have a much larger military force than them on their doorstep.
Dominic Cruz
Has anyone ever friended Gorgo? I've been friendly with her for over 100 turns and she still won't declare a friendship with me.
Bentley Powell
has anyone beaten the Civ V scenarios on immortal or deity? I want to 100% the game but I can't figure out how to do this to save my life
James Mitchell
I haven't tried. I've only beaten the Polish and Australian scenarios on Prince. They would be very though on Deity. Though if I can beat Scramble for Africa as the Boers on Deity then anything is possible.
Jose Morales
luck, hope, and aggressive abuse of the civ 5 AI
Angel Ross
this one is especially brutal. DoWs on turn 2 by two civs that are way more advanced and you have 4 shitt units and 2 cities. I've never even lasted 20 turns. I've beaten the 1066 one on emperor and that's it
Blake Lewis
Sounds like 1984
Chase James
war is peace, freedom slavery.
Samuel Walker
>I'm a big laser believer. I really believe they are the wave of the future. >t. Courtney Cox Seriously though, what did they mean by this?
Jacob Flores
I love the smell of burning molluscoids in the morning. Smells like... victory.
Jace Morales
What do I even do with these
Wyatt Russell
To win Scramble for Africa you just have to get lucky and have a good start or have a great start. I tried using a map with a walkthrough I got from a website and everything went according to plan except Portugal DOWd me towards the end and they literally had hunits as far as the eye could see. There was nothing I could do. Then I rolled until I got a nice mountain range. I moved both my Settlers north to settle within the mountain range on a river and where rifled canons couldn't target my cities except from a few select spots. I was literally holding off all of Europe with just a few units at a few key choke points. I lost to Ethiopia, restarted from the half way point, focussed more on culture, and won. I wish I saved the a screenshot of my location.
Samuel Ortiz
>ongoing purge looks like you got it right user
Hunter Powell
Literally never seen that before. Is it modded? 'Cos I've seen Ringworld Preference in vanilla before, on the Sanctuary shits.
Zachary Brooks
nice. have you managed the ottoman one? I figured this is harder becaude your start is set and you woll habe to defeat ethiopia one way or another
Dylan Price
my friend is a long time civ4 player who is giving 5 a go after it was on the humble bundle. what's the best way to teach the differences between games?
Justin Morgan
Yep, I just checked and I won that four days after I won as the Boers. Both were about 11 months ago.
Zachary Sanchez
tell him to play the fucking game
civ 5 is babby's second civ
Robert Powell
I have a spectre popping up two times in my game on empty systems and then going away I WANT to fight it
Also >clears house because secondary fleet doesn't have a titan YOu can build Titans?
Jackson Brooks
>fuck your mother >In Space
Angel Adams
They were trying to kill Sean Bean irl
Eli Brooks
Someone should tell that guy that lasers are inferior to kinetic and plasma weaponry.
Ethan Watson
>laser >wave I love this quote
Tyler Thomas
>kinetics V are the only starting weaponry to remain relevant till the end game
What did they mean by this?
Caleb Flores
That it's hard to match the destructive potential of throwing something, really, really fast.
Robert Baker
where can is set the maximum stockpile capacity?
Jayden Smith
if you have materlaisitc as your ethos, do you geta global boost all the time, or the pops taht have the ethos get the bonus?
Benjamin Mitchell
wow they're really reaching hard for those feminist leaders huh
Elijah Garcia
only the pops that have the trait
Camden Rogers
so unless i go mass mindcontrolling, or pick spiritualist its worthless? nice
Aaron Davis
>On the next Stellaris expansion you'll be able to use aliens as cattle >Can also genetically modify them to be delicious Was regular genocide not enough for these absolute madmen?
Jeremiah Kelly
it's the same with all ethos mate. Only pops with militarist ethos will be happy during a war; only pops with spiritualist will have a boost to negative ethics divergence, etc.
If your government has materialistic ethos then the bulk of your empire should be your own (starting) pops with that ethos so no, it's not worthless
Wyatt Morales
It doesn't have to be genocide, you can eat them sustainably.
Parker Collins
>humans >quick learners
LMAO
>nomadic our species isn't defined by nomads
Hudson Wood
wat
Austin Thomas
>our species isn't defined by nomads the parts of our species that survive according to paradox are
but yeah realistically speaking humans special traits are more like being religious, being good looking, being good at lying, and having a strong naval tradition
Bentley Hall
is killing all the chickens in the world genocide?
