The days of autopilots are over, it makes no sense to involve ded teams since one of two things can happen; they can either be completely free points for the other 3 teams in their groups so basically there would be two groups of 3 teams since autopilotslol or they can some how find a way into the knockouts and secure promotion to Summer which mean 17th/18th place teams qualify since no autopilots in elites despite the fact that they couldn't get out of the GS on their own. I'd rather have qualifiers.

I have aided Lab Coat on the basics of PES, that is having a team without errors on ATF and I have offered to help with any cup threads to help inprove his PR with the board. My usefulness ends there, I'm not very skilled with blender so I can only do so much for aesthetics and my current schedule constrains any testing I may do, plus >taking tactical advice from me

The board was filled with guys with animosity towards the cup back in the day but now even the mods are a bit more lenient towards these threads, of course it's not wise to push our luck and keep the threads on a very seldom basis, and I said that if the team failed to get a manager then it wasn't really prudent to resurrect it, Lab Coat does care, he was just busy and is very new to this managerial scene, when he tried making his thread it almost felt a bit forced on the sense that he expected the board to know what the 4cc was, on that regard his PR skills are a bit better now. And he can always call me to take the bullets for him whenever something goes wrong, I'm used to be a scapegoat now so I don't mind any further shit I receive.

Only Summer 13 was contested by an NSFW (/wg/). Autumn 12 had both /wg/ and /r9k/. In total, the only NSFW boards to have won cups were /wg/, /pol/, and /b/. 2014 is the only outlier (more than one cup with NSFW finalists), which tells us a lot about 2014 in general. It was a weird time for the cup.
