Basically the only way to make this okay is if they also print a VARIETY of attack/defense reducing answer cards. Just having one isn't good enough, because then you have another Odin/Seraph dynamic and most decks probably can't afford to play both answers.

But realistically they probably made zero such cards and actually want Aegis to be unanswerable.

It wasn't enough to have Daria cancer, or dshift cancer.
