The majority of capcom players only play capcom games.
On release SFxT was shit but there was other capcom games on the market so it was quickly killed. Same with SF3, on release it was massively unpopular.
On release SFV was shit but there isn't any other capcom game so people still play it. If MVCI somehow isn't a dumpster fire SFV will be in trouble.
