please respond
>>

Hello it is I, your friendly neighborhood guidefag!

What knowledge do you seek, /lozg/?

How many hearts are needed to pull the master sword?

where is the eighth gerudo statue

The 3D guide has to show the block going up, if it doesn't its obstructed and can't be used.

I've used Cryonis on mud before.

When does the dragon show up in Lake Hylia and/or Lake Faron?

I FUCKING HATE WIZZROBES

hey so I haven't played BOTW yet, but am I right with this assessment:

Legit not trolling, just tryina check my hype levels

>one real dungeon
>not a lot of music
>Best overworld in a Zelda. Like playing LTTP for the first time again back in the day
>seriously, it's missing a lot of Zelda staples, but you won't fucking care because the overworld is so damn good.

I'm real worried from everything I've heard of music (listened to a lot so far) and it seems like it has a bunch of mini-dungeons like WW did, but the
>no real puzzlan dungeons
has me super worried. Except then I see screenshots in here and it's just like "oh fuck I am SO FUCKING HYPE THIS LOOKS SO COOL". Excited like when I was a kid.

Also I fucking hate Skyrim and AC mechanics. I quit playing skyrim after about 45 minutes. please don't tell me there isn't a comparison to be made here, because there clearly is.

Northwest of Gerudo heights; bring mid-level cold resist (Rito armor)

Where to farm weapons?
What are the dye ingredients?

In the Gerudo Highlands, between two snow covered cliffs.

Th-this is where Paya keeps her panties...

Welp, I can't go anywhere near death mountain without Link bursting into flames. I heard there's mines or whatever close-by, but I'm unsure where they are exactly. pls gib help.

>no real puzzlan dungeons

Don't even fucking worry, everything is a puzzle in this game.

Two of the dungeons stumped me. The others were easier, but not breeze-through easy. They all look basically the same, although they revolve around a different central mechanic. Oddly enough, the real dungeon material exists in the overworld I think. There's a lot of puzzles and boss fights within the world itself, and with the plenty of in-depth sidequests that will have you searching areas, there's not much lost without traditional dungeons. There's also shrines, which I really like actually. The bite-sized trials can be pretty complex, and if one is too hard, you just leave. Overall, pretty good.

You cant try to understand the game with checklists like those
Play it and understand

Is Breath of the Wild comfy?

There are 4 "dungeons", which aren't really that long or complex, but the first time you get into them you'll think "what the fuck do I have to do" because they use some fucked up lateral thinking (hello, Gerudo dungeon).
Other than that there are 120 mini-dungeons/puzzles scattered throughout the map that'll sate your thirt for puzzling while giving you mcguffins to increase health or stamina.
Music is fine and ambient but there aren't really many "lost woods" or "dragon roost" levels of catchy shit, but Hyrule Castle will kick you in the feels bone hard.

Tell me where the side quests are.

>hoping for Gerudo girl lewds
>nothing but trap Link stuff

why

For the early quest rare find the dude is asking for the highest quality raw meat and says I should hunt at this mountain. He says on occasion a migration passes by there but I've been chilling at this mountain for like 2 hours with nothing showing up. What wildlife do I need to hunt for the best meat? I get nothing but prime meat

Revali > Urbosa > Daruk > Mipha
Do not debate me on this.

so im in hebra mountains near the pic related it sais there is a shrine in the area in the pic from sensor but how do i get to it?

>no real puzzlan
You cannot be further from the truth. EVERY shrine is a fucking puzzle. There is more puzzling than ever.

Lynel and Link doujins when?

I wanna see Link pleasure these beefy centaurs.

Why can't I get a Zelda tulpa to come out right?

I need more porn of gerudo link. Good lord I can't control my erection.

Who is the worst character in the game and why is it Daruk's descendant?

Do you need 13 hearts to get the Master Sword or can you reduce the requirements? I like my stamina.

In the stable at the foot of the mountain a girl with a broom will sell you 3 fire-null elixirs for 150 rupees; bring or catch 10 fireproof lizards with you and you'll find a guy that'll give you fire res armor (chest), the rest can be bought in Goron city just after

>best NPC
>best bro
>best husbando

You can respec anyways.

...

>Daruk
>not first
>dropping the broest of ghosts for a birb
Wew lad

Snow bowling.

How do you beat the Thundra Plateau? I'd imagine lightning resistance is a requirement here?

Can you give me the quest name? I'm not finding anything.

If you see a shooting star and teleport close to it does the beam of light go away?

I WANT TO FUCK LINK!!!!!!!!!!!

here's my 2 cents

Sure, it's worth criticizing that they could have reskinned and redistributed like 30 of the shrines and made them into 4 more dungeons just in the world (and lord knows i wish they did), but i can't fault the 4 main dungeons. they are really clever in concept and well executed. going into a giant mechanical elephant and using it's trunk to change the way the dungeon works is really fucking cool. and the lead up to it was a ton of fun, including the swimming on Sidon, the lynel, and the walk up to zora's domain. it feels to me like the "dungeon experience" is spread out throughout the world adjacent to the dungeons in this game rather than in a big cave somewhere and that's cool, too.

and despite all that, the heart of the game is in exploration and being in a world that feels living and breathing. the name Breath of the Wild even alludes to that feeling. because the most fun i've had in the game so far is riding around on my horse finding new towns or boko hideouts and playing with them. or finding korok seeds or helping strangers in fights or finding shrines. the overworld puzzles to find hidden shrines are fun, too. (i like the 7 heroines one a lot)

furthermore, the shrines provide the game's massive world with good pacing. you get a little bit of dungeon-esque puzzles on your way to the next interesting thing on your way to the next major story bit.

of course, it's not perfect, but it's still really fucking great. but i can't iterate enough that it feels like a lot of the Zelda heart is spread out into the world instead of contained in dungeons. the overworld is less of a formality to get from dungeon to dungeon so much as a stage for a lot of what made dungeons fun in past titles.

>You can see distant weather

best game

Yeah, you cant teleport to it.

can you be more specific pls like from where? if you mean the big stone doors one i already got that one this one is difrent

>one of the only characters in the entire game with a voice that actually fits the character
On that note, what the hell happened with the dub? The English voices for games like W101 and Kid Icarus Uprising were actually pretty good.

Is it true the Ocarina of Time amiibo has a chance to give the Biggoron sword and the Ganondorf amiibo has a chance to give the sword of six sages?

I haven't seen any video or heard anyone talk about it yet.

Someone post link sucking dick through his vai set.

How do I hurt Fireblight Ganon in his second phase? I thought I was done with this vague shit after Teleports Behind You Ganon.

It's named a rare find

Tennis

S a m e

Except I want him to fuck me

The very top left corner of map then. I just thought it was that one since it's usually the one people dont have.

Parry his fireball back at him

Okay thanks guys.

FUCK I want to play this so bad, but I can't just drop money on a switch/Wii U right now. Damn.

Bomb while he's gathering air for his fireball

You may not have noticed, but this dub was all done by Bill Trinen. Check the credits.

>implying she wears panties

;)

Hack your WiiU and pirate it like the cool kids
Pay for the Switch/Zelda pack later to apease your guilt

Hey senpai, how do you do the constellation puzzles?

>use the Gerudo set
>male NPCs around the town try to flirt with me
>one of the questlines involve a dude trying to trick me into staying with him

How do I survive "the air itself burns"

I've got the flamebreaker armor but its apparently not enough

Look at the distant constellation beyond the locked bars

Sorry, I was looking for "Rare Find" like a retard.

Wolves, bears, buffalo, and rhinos.

There are four dungeons. Honestly, I was bummed out by this at first, but they are honestly my favourite dungeons and favourite boss fights in Zelda by far. Every boss is better than Koloktos.

i have that one too i mean the one that is direct north of the summit like where the pin is it sais im ontop of it i left it for now to get otherones while getting help

Then it's my first answer, Snow bowling.

If you must know the exact location: Look a little east of the summit and there's a very square amount of water. It's around there.

anyone try hitting the cuccos? i don't want to kill them, but i gotta know if they still swarm you if you bully them too much.

They do

they do

Honestly, the only voices I didn't like we're Zelda and Impa. Which sucks, since they're the important ones. I'm not fond of the Great Deku Tree's voice, either, but not to the same degree.

I even like Yanubo's voice, even though I heard people complaining about it. But fuck, I can't stress enough how much I hate Impa's voice.

You can actually throw them at enemies, let enemies hit them, then they'll swarm and kill enemies.

link a qt

Where's the town that you can build it up a bit?

>Bill suddenly proposing to you in Mipha's voice

Zelda I could get used to. Impa? No... does not sound old at all. Bad, very bad.

Stuff to do after doing 4 dungeons?

>do zora shit first
>emotional story
>everybody loved mipha
>most of the random townies knew link and have dialogue about it
>motivated by wanting to do right by your waifu and prove elders wrong
>interesting stealth sequence to get lightning arrows
>cool mini boss on Sidon's back
>Sidon is a bro

>do Goron shit next
>basically only two gorons worth talking to
>all of them are annoying dudebro/meat head types
>nobody knows who i am
>they barely remember goron champion, don't really give a fuck that he died
>shit with sentries and cannons boring as fuck
>yunobo is extremely annoying

jeez i was really thinking this game would be great if all of the beast missions were gonna be like the zoras but that goron one was dog shit. are the rito and gerudo sections as good as the zora or shit like the gorons?

God damn it, I just lost a ruby and a diamond because the bomb explosion knocked them into lava. Is there any way to break ore deposits without using bombs?

She sounds like a 30 year old trying to do her best impression of Old Man Jenkins from Spongebob, except she's never seen the show and is only going by someone's description of what he sounds like.

youtube.com/watch?v=n_qbGJuxCYY

AHHHHHHHHHHHH

Zora > Gerudo > Rito > Goron

thanks user

Gorons have always been the worst parts of zelda games. BotW is no exception

Hammers/Drillshafts

Is there a post-game?

any 2h weapon, iron sledgehammers are fucking everywhere and they have a lot of durability, i keep one on me most of the time but if i dont have one, i just break out a claymore or a greatmace and smash it.

Yes, Rito one is really fucking fun and the Gerudo one has some charming characters.

you can use weapons

i kind of expected this since the rito look goofy like the gorons while the gerudo are more cool like the zora

If you mean a minigame where you sort mail like in WW, nope.

>expecting the Goron to be emotional
The Goron ARE meatheads. I don't know why you were expecting anything else. That's how they've always been presented in Zelda games.

I didn't care for the Rito one very much, but the Gerudo one is top tier.

You and I both know that's not what he meant.

if you're talking about playing the game after the final boss, nop, but your save file will get a little star on the load screen.

>no comfy pole fishing next to a stream on a calm day
shit gaem

why pole fish when you can harpoon fish?

>Rito
you literally just talk to 2 people, paraglide down to the flight test, and do a piss easy archery challenge. Its shallow af

you need two pieces for that part. The armor shop sells all pieces.
