After working in automotive R&D for a while, modern performance cars don't really excite me in the same way as shitboxes do.
Sure, you feel G-forces all the same, but everything is dampened to the point that it's comfortable and everything is oddly firm.
It might be fun if the point of driving is comparing numbers or if you have arthritis, but they feel more like you're being driven around by the car than you driving the car around.
