Here's my story feg:
I finally managed to get sharena to 5* after the Friday feathers, so I finally got a higher stat total (most of my 5* are in the 159-164 range, sharena was quite the upgrade).
I power farmed her to 40 in slightly more than one day.
Today I tackled the arena to increase my score.
Guess what the fuck kept happening? Fucking error 3001 every 2 or 3 games!! I literally won 18 perfect matches (and only lost one in the process) because the game kept voiding my streak because I had to delete xml to circumvent the error, it was NEVER this frequent WHAT THE FUCK
And to add insult to injury I went from the 20'000s... To 10'200th place! Spent 5 dueling crests when I only had to use 2 and I didn't even get to the next feaher tier with my new maximum score. Amazing.

Try using units with lower BST, or even 4 star units to lower your matching score. You dont need to put your best units on defense, as long as you can get that 259 defense score once

Also, use green units. Players have already gotten the red meta memo can usually stock their offenses with blues

I'd say it's because people have learned to manipulate AI so winning isn't too bad anymore. In the same vein, Olivia/Azura are harder to predict so putting them on your defense team makes for good defense AI shenanigans.
