Ring of BadMedallion got replaced by raindrop on any agi hero that would care to buy BadMedallion. You use the gold to get Dragon Lance that much faster. And YES that item is good on TB, its good on all ranged heroes and great on stat hungry agi heroes.

If you want a stupid slot effective stat item, that would be diffusal blade.

What's your take on the party ranked system changes?

I think party ranked needs to be completely reworked. There needs to be something good about playing it, I have no idea what. Maybe something like some awards battlecup style or something, and solo queue needs to be for solo players. Usually I play party with my mates 90% of the time and while I am 5.5k solo and 4.6 or something party I will concede that when I go party of 2 or 3 I'm gonna random 100% of the time (unless I have a quest) and that this is annoying for solo players but I don't give a fuck since they're trash anyway like my last game I randomed chen and we were party of 2 with 3 solo players who were all low 4ks they instantly start bitching and shit so I just go offlane midas chen and we lost but I had fun this game meanwhile these kids were super tilted but I don't give a fuck cuz it's my party mmr.

What happened this weekend is good for solo queue, but doesn't solve the issue that party ranked is useless and should be turned into something better. How to fix this?

I have to do Bristleback for my daily challenge and I can't fucking win. No matter what I do or build I just lose. Even the game I went 13/4 in I lost because 3 of my team where booga and the only other ooga decided it would be better to splitpush than stop the enemy from killing our ancient in a fight we could have easily won.

It still feels like a waste of time to play party even with 5 stack. But the biggest problem is what happens to 2-3 people parties can they only play unranked now?

Make it a single number, regardless if you play party or solo your mmr gets affected equally, this way you ensure people to actually try when in a party, also make the party restriction more strict, I think the limit is 2k of difference to play party ranked, make it 1k and we're good.

Most parties are just "lel lets have a good time together!" so let them play unranked and leave ranked to solo queue, so that way it is accurate to YOUR skill level. Unless ofcourse, you are a full party.

Instead, make it possible to create teams ingame. Let that team have a MMR. One player can belong to multiple teams.
Make it so you can't add/remove more than one or two players a month from that team.
Since it's not always possible to have your specific 5 stack available, make it so teams can have 8 or 9 members.

Team MMR used to be a thing before actual MMR happened and worked mostly like you say, the it slowly got pushed out after MMR got introduced and replaced by party MMR.

even if party MMR became limited to 5 man stacks, it wouldn't stop the problem that if you always play with the same people your MMR difference will always stay the same

Either you luck out with a 3stack that knows how to play their heroes or be stuck with a 3stack that got counterpicked but still think they could win.

That's why leave unranked unchanged. So that way if you are a party, just go to fucking unranked.

You 5 stacks reasonably often, and if set up a battle cup system or whatever $.99 for a ticket, enter a battle cup bracket, give them hats if they win sort of thing, you can incentivize 5 man queuing
