The most unreliable cars of all time

What is the most unreliable car of all time Veeky Forums? I want it to be so unreliable and finicky and fragile that it makes me so fucking mad my blood pressure is through the roof?

What is the vehicle I'm looking for?

Evo with an anti-lag system

Soul and passion

Biodegradable German wiring

GM 10 bolt rear end
Anti-lag system, but it's twin charged
Way too much boost
Lowest-octane pump gas tune

Don't forget stock internals.

Literally anything made in Britain

Anything european, so called German """"""""""""""""engineering"""""""""""""""""

...

Anything made by negro-saxons

>mfw engine doesn't rev up

fucking hate this idiot

>The way his cat jumps when he starts shouting at the end of that second video
Made me kek. He talks like a desperate used car salesman though.

In the automotive world, "soul" is the equivalent of "if you can't handle me at my worst you don't deserve me at my best"
>as if you need to earn a superior experience through hassle and headache

>British Leyland have somewhat worked out the kinks on the Rover V8 now? Let's develop a completely new one that's horrid in every possible way!

kek

A chrysler sebring.

Dodge neon
Cobalt

Add EGR to this list

1st Gen Dodge Neon

Wait for it....

They couldn't produce enough of the Rover V8 to accommodate Triumph. Rover had priority since it was there engine.

You are like a little baby. The Brits have long surpassed Germany at everything including terrible cars.

landroverhell.com/

ive got two, and theyre both perfect

W123 300D
redblock Volvo
M10/M20 and M30 powered BMW
4A powered Toyota Corolla
Lexus LS400
Chrysler 2.2 Turbo II powered cars
Chrysler Slant-6 cars

>no mention of Lancia

Trust me OP, frustration is all you will feel. It'll rust, break down constantly and basically just decompose.

That or an Alfa Romeo, particularly ones with Selespeed which I hear can cost more to fix than the cost of the car.

And mk2 golf with the 1.9D

wait, really?
im looking to buy a versa with the 5spd manual for my dad

Is it really that bad??

THIS

>people really are this oblivious to how terrible some manufacturers are.
Wow

motortrend.com/news/toyota-recall-crisis/

It's very reliable it reliably break all the time.

This has what to do with what?

>being this much triggered by a simple question

wew

Nice quints

>Getrag unreliable
????

Pt cruiser with the turbo

2000's vw beetles

Can't believe no one has mentioned the Chrysler Town and Country, especially the older models.

what do they do?

i had one of those and it ran to, no shitting, 380000 miles

...

Can confirm.
When I was a kid we had a 2000 Chrysler Caravan for maybe 8 or 9 years before the transmission completely crapped out.
I doubt it made it past 170 k.
Whereas my dad's 1997 Honderp Accord made it well past 270 K before the automatic transmission started to be shit.

Everything breaks and it is difficult to work on. Engine, transmission, A/C, you name it. It is just a classic POS.

Porsche 944

Anyone know if the next generation is any better

Uh do you mean the one engine that was in the 93-97 corolla, what people consider bulletproof?

>ls400
>unreliable
Nice meme

Those get the living fuck abused out of them by black and brown families and there's still a shitload of them left on the roads, Probably running with no oil. They're pretty beasty.

Real talk.

I've stuck with Japanese cars for most of my life and almost any Japanese car part is obtainable and cheap. American car parts are even cheaper. So, why are BMW and Mercedes parts so fucking expensive?

3000GT

I think Mr. Kilmer has something to confess.

Land Rover Freelander 1

No joke, no dishonesty - they are unjustifiably shit in every aspect

No rust protection, no quality control, faults out of the ass, aged like milk left outside in July, expensive when new....

LS400

Some one explain to me when BMC or British Leyland or what ever you want to call it is a bad engine.

compared to any thing else in its day was just as good if not better.

+ mk3 mr2 cats

We talking a specfic car here or just listing traits of poorly-built cara?

>phoneposting

>W123 300D
>redblock Volvo
>LS400
>Toyota 4A

You know this is an "unreliable" thread, right?

Because those are among some of THE most reliable engines ever produced.

>TFW only owned reliable cars because you inspect and test drive them before you buy them.

That is a great shout. Especially the ones with that miserable 1.8 K series. A lot have been bodged so that they are now FWD only because the drive train is so unreliable and shit

>10 bolt
>unreliable

Wat?

An unholy entity made from these attributes combined.

In the future when electric cars reign supreme this will be built to sate those who desire passion and soul in motoring.

anything made by TVR

According to AAA and RAC and adjusted for sales figures for the last 10 years it's been the Focus.

Chrysler Town and Country = Beasty

Only on Veeky Forums...

The engines themselves were pretty straight forward for most cars. Very simple and easy to work on. It was usually the electrical components under the hood or the fuel delivery that would cause problems.

And then you have The Triumph V8 was literally two Dolomite/TR7 engines stuck together. The main bearings didn't fit properly, the timing chain was to long and weak and the cooling system was awful resulting in overheating and blown head gaskets.

Tremec>shitrag

Anything with the Chrysler 420a engine. Never seen such a horrible design and such rampant and widespread rod bearing, head gasket, and oiling issues. Also you have to remove motor mounts to do a fucking timing belt

Daimler-Chrysler was such a shitshow

Speaking of which, no one has mentioned the abomination that is the Chrysler 2.7 LH. They also did fucking stupid shit like this

The Caravan is an all powerful God.

youtube.com/watch?v=fulmhuIxMLA

i hate sideposts, i thought that was a GM thing.

Bentlys

>Toyota
>Lexus

Stop posting

you forgot Subaru headgaskets

And dodge transmissions

No, he's just a mazda cuck

This is a TVR

My stepdad had one of those in his backyard.
It was an off-white, but had turned green from all of the moss growing on it.

I've always wanted to try and get it running.

3k Civic

These break down for a hobby

>Unreliable Cars.jpg
>some honda with a weird grill

Totally worth it though.

Well if youre not an amazing mechanic you probably cant.

This thing singlehandedly ruined Maseratis reputation.

Lancias are already falling apart in the factory.

Isnt that just because of the auto transmission crapping out?

t.butthurt German

>tfw I want one of these shitboxes
That or a Stealth, but they're the same thing so whatever...

FIX IT AGAIN TONY
