Most people after maxing turn to pvm and pvp and often don't play as much, maybe even post 99 xp and skilling pets, but a few are lost to the madness of accomplishment reqs like champion scrolls and castle wars rewards. Those can never be saved.

Would I need 69 magic to find / activate the book or only to cast the teleport? I'm lacking two levels still.

If I'm studying I can't closely monitor the timer for stat restoration and my axe boost will be less efficient.

The level 50 giant spiders in the stronghold will be faster xp than sand crabs they have negative defence bonus to all three attack styles and they are packed so closely together that you can pretty much afk and still get better xp than crabs especially since there is very little crashing/competition.

I'd always recommend doing tasks, the rewards for all of them are pretty useful. basically you're going to want to do them at some point so why not now
