Just watched the newest briefing. Did I hear them right that there are quarians on the Ark? Why even mention them if they aren't there, cause they have led us to believe they wouldn't be in Andromeda.

Maybe there's just a small contingent on either the Turian ark or the Nexus?

I still really have no idea what the hell they're planning to do in Andromeda, it's not like they can colonize planets there any better than they could back in the Milky way.

I guess they could just do it for explorations sake, but it seems a little wasteful.

It could very well be exiled Quarians. What incentive would they have to stay in the Milky Way if they can neither go back to the fleet nor be welcomed anywhere inside council space. If a small group of exiled Quarian embark on the Turian ark, they could work as techies and miners.

Probably some wildcard explorer types who're there as specialists.
Otherwise there would need to be some serious DxM asspulls to justify them suddenly colonizing planets. Not that that's something I would put past Bioware

Weren't their colony attempts more hindered by most of the good planets already being taken? I'm pretty sure most of the habitable worlds had some corporation invested in it if not full on colonization by another race. And the there's the not so safe terminus systems and Earth was aiming for those.

I bet there will be a side-quest that will involve helping the Quarians adapt. Maybe some hotshot scientist figured out how to basically do the same with their suits that the Geth did when you brokered peace.

The part about the Kett being transformed races hasn't officially been revealed by Bioware. Even if everyone's figured it out they're not going to acknowledge that until the game's out or it's closer to release.

Well if they're anything like us it's either 1000 or 10000 and we could survive it. It would need to be carefully monitored for several generations but genetically speaking that's a pretty damn good survival rate on the viability of our species all things considered.

Well they have unique auto-immune systems adapted to their home planet. Why they've never sought out a salarian to make some alterations to adapt to different planets is beyond me. Maybe money. I imagine altering the genetic coding of an entire race would take a lot of money. Or maybe the council prevented them from seeking salarian help.

Geth AI in a single unit is closer to animal than actual sentience. Legion is the exception to that.

But I think what's important to note is that Bioware seems to be intentionally handing out different builds for people to play. The author might have gotten a file where Scott and Jaal have a negative relationship.
