>4cyl >237 hp >4.1 second 0-60 >only 160mph >1.7L >2,500lbs >ties with a cayman on the track >cloth seats standard >yellow exterior, mandatory leather seats (2 of them) $4k extra >carbon interior trim $2k >colored stitching $1,500 >"race suspension" and spoiler $2,300 Priced one out, not all the options, just the larger wheels. $60,000 before TTnL..........
Look, it's pretty. But that is fucking crazy. No wonder I rarely see them in the wild.
It's easily the cheapest carbon fiber car on the market.
John Nelson
Not to mention the inside is all cheap plastic and if you are above 5 foot 7 you will feel cramped
Oliver Mitchell
So? Don't make it out of carbon fiber. Who gives a shit, it's not worth the MSRP.
Isaiah Reed
A Cayman also won't break down every time you take it for a drive
Gabriel Sanders
its for the people who want a lotus but think a lotus is too cheap and not special snowflake enough its probably not that bad but the fact theres no manual option is a sin
Sebastian Bell
user in forza motorsport car don't break down
Luke Perez
Alfa is just shit overall.
Parker Jenkins
The real question is why isn't there a 4C GT4?
Christopher Mitchell
>fox and grapes/10
Dominic Green
Don't forget its complete lack of power steering, which is fine in a 600-700kg track car, but fucking retarded on something that weighs 1200kg by the time it's full of fuel and people
Also, >carbon fibre chassis >still weighs more than the miats/124
Noah Reed
Stop being poor
Nathan Peterson
You also didn't mention it doesn't come with a stick. Just a bunch of buttons where the stick should be and flappy paddles.
This might be the worst car to daily.
Adam Murphy
>something that weighs 1200kg by the time it's full of fuel and people
A liter of fuel weights 0,78 kg at worst, so do the math according to tank size.
An average American weights 200 kg? So 400 extra kg of occupants?
Brandon Davis
>t. American unable to operate manual gearbox but for some reason he wants one in a sports car
Easton Sullivan
The American version, to staying true to the domestic market, weights 200 pounds more than the European model.
Hudson Hughes
But it is made out of carbonfibre...
Cooper Diaz
so it's similarly in terms of price and performance to the cayman? what's the problem?
Adam Scott
And it's artisan made from aeronautic grade carbon, manufactured by an Italian excellence company who build parts even for space ships
Juan Gomez
shouldnt be a problem my 2200lb manual steering civic is no problem, and it probably has at least as much weight on the front wheels as a mid engine 4c. VW beetles weigh about 1800lbs and have a manual steering box but the steering is so light its as easy as power steering thanks to the weight distribution
Grayson Powell
Kek
Jacob Perry
>they released a car which can actually compete for the first time in 20 years so brand is not shit overall!
Eli Thompson
That nigger op doesn't understand simple economic laws such as scale economies.
The Cayman has been produced in way bigger numbers than the limited semi artigianal produced 4C.
Of course the 4C costs more...
Ryan Gonzalez
KYS useless hater
Alfa Romeo has never been garbage in the latest 30 years as some of (you)'s say here.
Especially if you're American you're not entitled to say anything because you never saw an Alfa in your entire pathetic existence
>895 kg (1,973 lb) (dry) >1,050 kg (2,315 lb) (dry) (USA) Why is the American version so fat compared to the rest?
What cars that feature a carbon fiber frame are cheaper?
Ryan Cox
>According to Pierallini, the weight gain is due to aluminum inserts in the carbon fiber chassis, as well as additional gas tank and fuel line protection, and equipment to meet U.S. emission standards.
