So let me get this straight, a stock LS1 makes more horsepower and torque than either a stock 2JZ GTE or stock RB26DETT while weighing less and being naturally aspirated.
>Despite this weebs and europoors will argue that the LS1 is an inferior engine
The ls1 can't make shit for power without forced induction (which the rb and jz already have, and which the ls1 doesn't take kindly to unless internals are upgraded) The ls1 can't make 1000hp on an unopened engine (the 2jz does)
It also cant rev for shit and breaks if you try to
The ls1 is also a much newer engine than the rb or jz :^)

The rb and jz can also make more power on the factory specification engines (up the boost) than the ls1 can without spending thousands on it So like... ls1 is trash and needs big bucks to compete with like stock l6 engines from over 25 years ago

a 600hp 2j on stock internals will grenade on you

600hp on 2jz-gte or 2jz-ge non-vvti is what many people do with success. On stock bottom end, and many use stock cams.
anyways LS is newer, lighter and has extremely good aftermarket support in the US, while JZ - worldwide.

Yeah no... an engine with 80k miles will make 800hp on stock internals for another 20k miles
Ls1 trash can't do that Gm btfo

>LS1 >6.2L >460 HP >74 HP per liter
>Coyote >5.0L >435 HP >87 HP per liter
hmm, what could make this difference?

ls1 is 5.7 not 6.2

What kind of aftermarket support does a 2jz have in India or Somalia?
