What if vengeance is a lingering effect? Let's say you set yourself to 10hp then after you heal up you're still in vengeance for the next 2-3 turns then it disappears until you set yourself into 10 again. So the playstyle of blood will be swinging in between 10 hp and high hp ranges rather than sitting at lethal range all the time just to proc card effects
