>There is no replacement for displa-

You do know you can just throw a turbo on a high displacement engine, right?

Thats cute

LeMans >>>> /lgbt/

Sure, its just not 11 MPGs.

>Cadillac has NEVER EVER won LeMans

stay BTFO

>ford won with high displacement v8

Congratulations. You played yourself.

>gm has never won
lol

>tfw DPi isn't the real LMP2
ACO a shit. I'm not saying prototypes sell cars these days, but at least the DPi cars have clear (marketable) relation to their road going counterparts.

they won with a small block once

No they didn't.

Why did you bump this garbage?

and 8 cars in the field

yes they did, MK1 were powered by windsor blocks, which are smaller than the FE big block

If we're gonna be playing the 'Privateer's don't count so we can keep saying GM hasn't won Le Mans' game, John Wyer's third party Gulf Mirage team won, not Ford/Shelby.

legit question, has a privateer team using a GM engine won LeMans?

What the fuck is being argued here? why does it matter or not if it was a small block what is supposed to be the argument? one ford engine won over another? sorry a bit lost.

Pratt & Miller won the LMGT class in 2015 with the Corvette C7R and a 5.5L LS engine. GM only ran an LMP program for three years from 2000 - 2002 with the Northstar engines in a Cadillac LMP, best they did was 9th at Le Mans in '02 before they were discontinued.

that there is a replacement for diplacement

Welcome to Veeky Forums. Where the point of a shit post is lost within 6 posts due to assholes that just have to argue.

>has a privateer team using a GM engine won LeMans?
your answer should be no

Go pound sand. LMPs are so gaudy and purpose built that I don't even consider them cars, they're just F1 coupes at this point. GT class is the only thing worth watching, sans the dildowang and GTR LMPs.

pushcucks on suicide watch

>American

have fun with 4 cylinders that get 20 mpg despite having 30 EPA mpg.

Then you just replaced the displacement of an even larger engine still

>a turbo 2.3 sohc competed with the likes of V8s and V12s
>it was ford's top performance engine
>LOL NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT, AMIRITE? XDDD
