There IS something I would suggest no matter what car you buy. Read the fucking owners manual. It will tell you how to use some features, but it will tell you what maintenance needs to be done at what mileage. It can also save your ass in a jam.
For example. Went to the movies back in December with 2 friends in one of my friend's 2004 Chrysler Concorde (comfy as FUCK btw). We got back and it wouldn't start, only crank. She got out the owners manual and read. Owners manual said to crank the car with the gas pedal floored for 30 seconds, twice, then to start it normally. It worked, car fired right up afterwards and we got back on the road with no other issues. But the owners manual will be filled with solutions to quirks like that.
