Also, I had an AE86, not an MR2, but I'm thinking about buying a $3-4k one this summer to replace my auto Civic. Seems to be a lot of potentially not total shitbuckets in CA for much less than my AE86 was.

Get a good sport exhaust and you don't need any speakers.
