It's not even the weapons that bother me about Diadem. It's the fact that this SE's third try at making Diadem something meaningful, content that you hope you could have actively got involved with. I'm just filled with a sense of apathy that instead of that they bandaided it behind RNG just enough so that people will continue to play until Stormblood. That literally feels like the only thing they had in mind designing this, and that disappoints me so much.

I thought it'd be a fun new weapon to use/glam. I started playing around Christmas, so I had no real expectations about ever finishing it in time, but it'll be nice to mess around with later on in Stormblood when things are theoretically easier.
