the BiS survival bracers drop in BM, and work for all hunter specs (although no dps gain for MM)

BM is also easy to play as a 2ndary spec cause it's so goddamn easy

yeah though, I'd go SV just for being a hipster and more exciting leggos, I really enjoy the harpoon belt on my SV hunter (I mostly do M+ on it though)

do be aware though that if you're raiding, there's like literally 1 leggo that's a major increase to ST dps for SV (Bracers, threre's also the trinket, and chest, but everything else is such a small ST gain if any it barely matters), so prepare for disappointment

Vanilla had so much in terms of complexity with the combat. Most spells had a cast time at least 2seconds or more and you had multiple ranks of spells. Which class you brought had vastly different abilities. Obvious examples are the raid buffs but leveling mattered too. In example Druids while one of the better healers in the right hands had no revive. Made dying that much more painful. So many items to help in a fight for both pvp and pve. For example, the engineer goggles to spot rogues in pvp. Talent specs need no explanation. Threat was actually a thing. The modern game is alien in comparison to vanilla.

Just getting to the instance was a thing. Pre summoning stones you physically had to move you character there and you better not have forgotten water or food.

And before you hit me again with your dank memes and nostalgia goggle comments. It wasn’t all great. Respeccing was terrible. A lot of quests were annoying with respawn time on mobs and items.
