Fucking Kodaka. Still had a small hope she would survive somehow. I got used to her as the MC and Saihara as the assistant who would die later in the game. Well, at least he is still alive and now I'm 100% sure he will survive until the end. Looking back, this first chapter was really good, you can actually pinpoint the moment Kaede decides to murder the "mastermind" and the fact she conceals it even from the player fits well in V3's theme of lies. I got spoiled on the end game "twist", on the next victim (Hoshi?) and saw two thumbnails that looked like Kirumi's and Ouma's executions but I'm not sure on this last one. Guess I'll have to starve myself from details of the game until September.

I hope the next cases are as good as the first desu. Maki is the best waifu.

Also it's interesting that Kaito's illness was not in his memories of becoming an astronaut and the students were all supposed to be totally immune for the Gophel plan (monokuma's explanation that his symptoms were delayed sounds like bullshit to cover it up) suggested he had it before going onto the show and managed to hide it from TDR somehow.
