Talk me out of getting a new 4runner

Talk me out of getting a new 4runner

So far I've got:
>New body comes out 2018, rumored to be goat
>front grille only a mom could love
>buying a new car ever

Why not let us talk you into getting a new 4Runner in 2018? :3

>Over $60k for a V6

Meh. Dunno if I could do it.

>buying a new car
Are you buying it? Because if you're financing it, you actually can't afford it, just the monthly payments.

Between owing a bank and the immediate depreciation....aw fuck it, you go girl!!!

I negotiated 41k out the door for an sr5 premium + 3rd row and a bunch of goodies

I dunno if I can wait that long. Send help

The TRD PRO goes for around 45K so i don't know where you pulled 60 from. You MIGHT be able to spend 50 on a 4runner if you try hard enough.

Source: I bought on last year.

Suburban for 5k

Does it even have a rear locker for $41k? I thought you had to get the TURD edition to get that?

>that entire front end

jesus h christ did the designer get hit in the face repeatedly before drawing that shit

Trail's and the TRD PRO have e lockers although i think they are calling the Trail the TRD off road now. Either way mine has a locker. If it isn't a SR5 or Limited it has a locker.

I can afford it. I make close to 200k a year with 3k a month in actual expenses.

Number one thing holding me back is the new body, but haven't even seen pics to know if it's worth the wait.

Pic of what the new grill could possibly resemble

What's the locker?

4runner's hold about 60% of their value after 5 years. It's fucking insane!

$60k CAD which is basically 45k USD. Either way you can get a pretty nice full sized domestic truck for that much.

Nvm the diff.

Not gonna need that... considered it though

Won't hold it's value and will break in 5 years (expedition/suburban)... real trucks don't seat 7 either

What field do you inhibit for $200k a year? That's some serious cake even after taxes.

What's your weekend/fun car?

Yeah but the only options for a BOF suv that will tow and go over and through things in that size and price range are the 4runner and the 4 door jeep. The Jeep is FAR worse to actually drive than the Toyora. You can get a Grand Cherokee but they cost a good bit more if you want a non-poverty trim with 4x4. If you want a truck get one. If you don't need a Truck a 4runner will haul people far better.

easy

no solid front axle

there, just convinced you

True, But that's why you lease it. The 'Burban and others actually fit 7. 4runners are too small to fit 7 comfortably anyways, That's what Sequoias are for.

If you don't need to do any serious off roading and only need to seat 5 there's better SUv's that do the job just as well but cheaper. Does it even have a proper transfer case anymore? Or is some slip based "awd" system?

Email marketing

I have an e36 m3 that I daily right now

>Email marketing

fucking spammer

>I make close to 200k a year
then why the fuck are you on here asking you edgy rich motherfucker?

go buy that shit

Beautiful example of an M3

Interesting field too.

so a 2012 would be the better buy

>4runners are too small to fit 7 comfortably anyways, That's what Sequoias are for

You're right... the third row is for children and otherwise useless

Suburban are super comfy and I love them but can't bring myself to pay for one

Yes user but if you DO need to go off road and DO need to seat five your options are the 4R, Jeep, and Jeep GC. 4runners still have real 4x4 with a t case and rear lockers. The AWD version is a Torsen AWD so it doesn't suck off road either. The yoda is more reliable that the other two and WAY more comfortable inside that the Jeep.

>Buy 4th gen 4runner
>last of the v8 4runners
>left over money for mods and gas
>who cares if it gets trail bashed
>???
>profit

Saw a 2010 with 47k miles for $26k. Almost did it.

The runner is super comfy around town and on the highway. Of course it's got no problems on trails and weekend getaways either. Best part is, as long as the roads aren't salted, they last 300k+

Had a 2013 Tacoma DC LB TuRD Sport, a 2015 4Runner Limited. OP, all I can tell you is that if you ever want to buy a Television that is bigger than 55'', you should get a Tundra.

My 4Runner got the same MPG as a Tundra, which is why I made the trade to a 17.

Get a crosstrek or Forester with manual for 25k

>Suburbanon takes on a new approach

What activity do you do that requires you to go off road?

Gonna hazard a guess, but probably offroading.

If he's making $200k in email marketing, he's make about twice the max salary reported for an email marketing manager.
