If you wanna chance a $2500 shitheap NA or NB, go for it. Just remember that those old chassis are used up by now even if they aren't rotted away. A 10 year old NC Miata will have more structural rigidity after 200k miles than a brand new NA had leaving the factory. You really can't argue with newer technology.
