What did he change about proxy mines?

In LW1 launching proxy mines into the middle of a pod wouldn't activate them. If a pod was stationary you could repeatedly launch mines onto it and then when it activates it would deal massive damage and potentially wipe the pod.

Beaglerush abused this and it was changed so mines activate.

XCOM 2 is an alternative scenario where instead of starting with sectoids they go full rape face and some council faggot spills the beans on XCOM HQ. They capture you (the commander) and turns out Bradford sucks at his job.

We definitely were considering they kidnapped the commander to use his mind to command and control their legions, and they used our genetics to improve everything they could, from sectoids all the way up the the Ethereals themselves. Also, it's implied that the fact humanity lasted as long as they did against full fledged invasion was very impressive to them, even if we didn't quite last long enough to reach lasers.

It will be lucky enough if he even bothers to stream For Honor at all.

OK I do remember the trailer having Mutons with plasma rifles doing a base assault in March so we may be not that bad.

Remember that most of the X2 autopsies for aliens that were also in X1 include a bit comparing the current one with Bradford's description of them from before XCOM fell, even for things like Sectopods. Imagine fighting sectopods with lower level troops and nothing but ballistic weapons.

Locked on activating on overwatch shots sounds really tempting with rapid reaction.

I felt like vanilla X2 suppression wasn't as reliable as LW1's, do ayys care more about being suppressed now? If they do then I'd grab suppression in a heartbeat. LW1 suppression was really good.

as fun as KSM is you don't get bersekers and mechtoids for a while, so flames for lids is great

Yeah definitely makes sense. All the other MECs are probably gonna take the KSM for when we hit Elites and shit. Being able to one-shot mutons is incredibly valuable.
